We had been taking our sweet boy, Burt to Dr. Melco for the 8 years that we had him & Dr. Melco always went ABOVE & BEYOND for Burt. He saved his life more than once, including a terrifying incident with kinetic sand! (He stayed open late to do life saving surgery!) He treated us & Burt with so much compassion, and especially at the end of his life…He listened, and tried to do as much as he could to make Burt comfortable those last few months. He came to our house when the time came to put Burt down & even called me the next day to see how we were doing & to tell me how wonderful of a dog Burt was. I will ALWAYS recommend Dr. Melco & Paws & Claws to anyone needing exceptional care for their animals.”

A special thank you to Dr. Ashley Zisko for detecting a heart murmur in our little guy, then following up with recommended tests where we found he had a rare congenital heart disorder. We acted swiftly and she referred us to the cardiology UMN dept and we were able to get a procedure done, which realizing if it had gone undetected he may not have had a lot longer to live. He’s now thriving with more energy than before, and we cannot thank Dr. Zisko and Greenbrier/Golden Valley Animal Hospital enough! ❤️”
