Very nice bar and restaurant. A beautiful location with a fantastic view of the opening to Voyageurs National Park.

Stopped in for dinner. What a disappointment. The walleye fingers were nasty, no flavor except chalkyness. Only flavor was added tarter sauce. Went with the smashburgers and they were bland at best. Quite a disappointment from 2 years ago. Not sure if their cook had the night off, but definitely would not recommend. Next time we'll go across the bay to Nelson's resort - at least they have a better selection for food available. J.M.O.

Very scammy. They push real hard to use their "hospitality service" but fail to disclose that the fee is $80 regardless of what they bring you (which of course you must also pay for) and how far from base you are. Also, we think they overcharged us for the gas we used because we did not travel very far from base and yet still ran out of gas. They likely did not top off our tanks when we left. The houseboats are old and pretty run down. The owner is very rude and just doesn't seem to care about customers. We also didn't appreciate the pushy young Christian pastor that works in the office. It was quite unprofessional (and arrogant) for him to work in his own religious beliefs in the trivia night questions. Again, this is a reflection of the shoddy management. However, our fishing guide, Aiden, was excellent! We really had fun with him and caught a lot walleye. I highly recommend him.

Quality business, quality people. A bit pricey, but they don't nickel and dime you. Our boat seemed in pretty good condition. Don't come here expecting a brand new houseboat. They are used, but they are clean and well maintained.Everyone is super friendly and quick to help out. We didn't need anything on the lake but listening to the radio, others had some needs that were met by attentive friendly staff. There is a daily run to bring you odds and ends. Yes, there is a cost associated, that's business. You don't have to use it. We did not, but it was nice to know it was availableThere is a fun morning report every day, given by a gal with a ton of energy. We looked forward to this every morning. They do radio trivia a few nights a week. We played once but were not able to due to our location another time

Have been dinning here every year for 15 years. Went for breakfast today. Tater tots for hash browns. Sausage tasted like pig, could not even eat toast(tasted bad). So we’ll maybe just a bad morning. Tried dinner tonight, sat on deck. Only one other table full. Servers just kept waking by and cleaning tables, waited about 15 minutes and left. Do better

Very professional team. Boats were great, made lots of memories. I would definitely recommend. It started with the night at the lodge. Very nice, clean, large rooms. Definitely stay in the lodge the night before for priority boarding. Ate dinner at the restaurant in the lodge. Very good food, decent prices, large portions. Houseboats were clean, and everything worked well. Best of all everyone was so friendly. They knew what they were doing and wanted to make sure we had a great time.

very poor service. bartenders let empty glasses sit on tables for long periods of time, not coming around asking for refills. way too over priced, $9 for a Manhattan and over $5 for a beer, charge extra to bring it 7ft to your table. service and food quality with the new owners has sufficiently decreased, all you need to know to be a cook is how to open a can and a bag of beans. maybe don’t have creepy men behind the bar, isn’t very good for tips.

We rented a Sportcruiser with a hot tub for the week. 5 adults, 3 children. Rec.capacity was 6-8- we were definitely at capacity! We did add on the concierge service for the week, which I highly recommend. There is no where to get extra food or supplies. Black Hawk was super nice and knowledgeable about the boats, fishing, and best sites, and he did a great job of finding all the food, beverages, and fishing supplies on our orders. The loading and unloading team was super fast and friendly. Everyone was great!! Great trip, lots of great memories. We will be back to ride the slide, soak in the tub, and fish until sunset!!

This is an amazing place to vacation, absolutely beautiful! This is a first-class operation. From the time we arrived, the staff was there to help. The orientation/familiarization with the houseboat was very detailed. When our trip was over, the staff was right there again, ready to help us get our things off the boat.

Great place to book a vacation. The best part is that many of their boats can be captained from the upper bridge, really lets you enjoy the time spent driving from camp site to camp site. I highly recommend Voyagaire!

I’ve taken two houseboats trips now over the last couple years, and both have been unforgettable trips that are unique experiences from any other vacation I’ve been on. The staff at Voyagaire is always so helpful, the food at the restaurant is delicious, and the lodge and boats have always been clean and tidy. Five stars!

Staff were cordial and it was easy to get ready to sail. The boat itself has seen its best days and needs renovation and a deep cleaning (fabric furniture was filthy). Worst part was when we arrived an hour early to exit time (9am). It was like pirates on a ship. We had to get angry and ask them to stop taking our things before we were ready as we needed to pack up and empty the refrigerator. Being on the water a week was great!
