Purchased sylvan pontoon in ‘24 new
Later discovered anchor light was broken and hot glued back together by dealer or factory
Witnessed their crews power loading boats on Cross Lake without concern for the undermining of ramp
Recommend dealing with folks that are better stewards of our resources and trustworthy

Called them about an outboard motor problem. Couldn't believe it! A human answered the phone. No extensions to type in. No on hold. And he was knowledgeable. Answered my question. Fixed the problem. Earned any future business from me forever.

The 66 Crew is the best in Crosslake! Treated my family right! Told us when they could work on our pontoon and they honored their word. I won’t go anywhere else in Crosslake! Very reasonable too!

I would advise anyone to not buy from this place. It is the most unprofessional place of business we have ever dealt with. Me and my wife went there this spring to look at pontoons and the salesperson named Johnny tried selling us a pontoon of a color we did not want. He pushed and pushed and then said he would give us $500 off a trailer if we bought the blue 2023 Sylvan clz dh. So we went outside and looked at it. So we left there at closing time and said we would call right when they open in the morning. So we called and said we do not want the blue and wanted the same one in charcoal/grey and we want that trailer also we looked at lastnight at closing. Johnny proceeds to say oh the trailer is sold. How could the trailer be sold when we left at closing and called right when they opened. So I said ok I'll find a trailer elsewhere. So we ordered the sylvan clz dh we wanted and put 3 grand down and waited till the end of July to get it. So they delivered it and put it in the water, I idled to my dock and put it on the lift right away to put the brand new canopy cover on i ordered right after putting a down payment on this pontoon. We got that done and took it out to break the yamaha 150 sho in the right way. As soon as we left the dock the side door rattled like crazy, then a half hour later we noticed spots all over the molds that the seats sit on. Then the trim on the motor would make a loud banging noise when you trimmed it up. Then after the first 1.5 hours I got it up on plane and the water rushed from the back of the pontoon over the deck and flooded the whole pontoon. I seriously could not believe this after writing out over a $67,000 check. Anytime we would get up on plane water would come over the rear of the deck and flood the whole pontoon. Also I had the black wrap and bumper guards put on from top of toons halfway down and it looked like someone took a pressure washer 2 inches away from the toons all the way around the whole pontoon and there was big round black marks on the rear of the toon. I mean how do you even let something like this leave the dealership in this shape, it is the most unprofessional thing to do after spending 67 grand. So I called the bank right away the next morning to put a hold on the check. This was a Monday and they first came to pick it back up Thursday. If this was my business I would of had it picked up and took care of the customer right now. So to find out they put a tritoon transom on a pontoon and the motor was mounted to low. HOW is my question, HOW is that even possible when your a pontoon dealership. So finally a week later Shawn the owner calls and tells us he can't sell us the pontoon we specifically ordered and waited the whole summer for. He proceeds to tell us he will sell us a black one thats on the showroom floor. So we thought about it overnight and asked for some money off cuz that is not what we ordered. So Shawn calls us right as they closed tonight and says he is cutting ties with us with it all. My wife proceeds to tell him she will talk to me tonight to see if we really want the black one and are willing to pay full price for it and don't want any money off and Shawn the OWNER of 66 Marine tells her "no I can't keep running down there to you guys we are just going to cut ties with you". HOW CAN YOU BE THAT UNPROFESSIONAL??? Make it right with a customer that just wrote you a $67,000 check of hard earned money. And another thing, I was only gonna put 20 grand down on it and finance the rest and Johnny says oh if you do that I guarantee i can get you 6.99% financing. How can a salesperson say that when it's the bank decision on the customer's credit and debt to income ratio. I would never ever go to this place of unprofessional business people ever again. I'll take my business elsewhere and will never ever be back. Worst experience of buying a new pontoon in our lives. I cannot believe this place treated us this way.

Big time jerks when it comes to responding to customers. Very poor customer service. Other places have more realistic prices and better service.

This past summer I was a visiting from out of town on vacation and noticed my boat trailer had an issue. I had explained that I was only in town for a few days and needed to have it fixed by a certain date. Understandable they can not control when they receive parts, however I was frequently calling for updates when estimates were missed and that was extremely frustrating. I also very nearly ended up having to stay an extra day.Fast forward a few months later, I'm winterizing my boat and I come to find out the work they did was wrong. Parts were installed incorrectly and I had to repay another mechanic to redo their work.I've emailed and called them for a refund multiple times and their comment is they think I'm trying to scam them. Terrible customer service. Own up to your mistake.
