Offers the feel of shopping for groceries from the 1980s. With 2030 pricing. But there's value in a smaller, convenient, and friendly, small, mom and pop grocery store. Stop in. There's a nice selection of fresh produce. And a yummy sweats selection. Also has a deli.
Almsted's is a grocery store with a small town appeal and friendly atmosphere. Customer service is our specialty! We are most known for our bakery items made from scratch right at our store, and a homestyle deli with the best fried chicken and potato salad around. We also help out our local community including schools, churches and businesses with special meal or dessert planning for ongoing events. Almsted's Fresh Market is a local grocery store that originally began in 1989 in St. Louis Park as Almsted's SuperValu. In 2000 Almsted's SuperValu opened it's doors in Crystal with a scratch bakery and homestyle deli and has since changed it's name to Almsted's Fresh Market.
