Bassett Creek Dog Park is a well-maintained and enjoyable space for dogs and their owners. The park features a large, updated area with plenty of space for dogs to explore, run, and play. It is surrounded by beautiful mature trees and has a wooded feel, providing a relaxing environment for both dogs and people. The park includes separate sections for big and small dogs, ensuring safety and comfort for all. Amenities such as water fountains with dog bowls, poop bags, benches, and trash cans are available, making visits convenient. There are paved walking paths outside the park, along with trails through the woods that are perfect for relaxing walks. The park has multiple entrances, including a more secluded one, and offers good parking options. Visitors appreciate the friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to watch their dogs show off ice moves in winter or enjoy hills and hillsides during the warmer months. However, visitors should be cautious of icy conditions in winter and watch out for bugs like ticks in the shrubbery during warmer weather. Overall, Bassett Creek Dog Park is considered one of the best in the Twin Cities, offering a clean, shaded, and fun environment for dogs to play and owners to relax.
Very nice. Fast walk. Very woodsy. Nice people and nice dogs!

One of my favorites. Lots of grass and shade with a little walking trail. My only complaint, along with other small dog parks, is that there aren’t enough dogs!
