Bassett Creek Park is a beautiful hidden gem in the middle of the northwest metro. It is a great park with a big open space, a mini lake, and a flowing creek. There is a very nice dog park with separate areas for large and small dogs, featuring lots of terrain and mud. It is right next to a nice long trail. The park has a popular frisbee golf course, mostly away from the walking trails. There is a nice play area and nice pavilions. It is great to find wildlife like wood ducks, cranes, turtles, and eagles. There are mature beech and oak trees all over the area, providing plenty of shade. It is a gorgeous park with lots to see and hear.
I shouldn’t say I like this place, bc I would like to keep it a secret, but it’s a great park!! Frisbee golf is super popular here. I just like to walk around the mini lake.

City of Crystal has done a very nice job with their dog parks. Separate areas for large and small dogs. Lots of terrain and mud for my golden to enjoy. Thanks
