“First time there and so impressed. Inviting, excellent presented retail space with a wonderful selection! If I had more time I could have gotten carried away! I walked in the door to what I thought would be like finding a needle in a haystack (not knowing the name of the wine but trying to explain it to someone who could help me). I only had to ask one question and they knew instantly and I had bottle in my hand! Great service and price! Thank you so munch for helping me find my friends favorite wine!”

“When it comes to liquor it is all about price, price, price. This is a blue, grey, and non-starched white collar luxury not a necessity. It is a toss up between Cub and G-will. It does seem that Cub is a little better on wine and have more wine specials. Cub also does better on wine closeouts. Cubs' beer prices when on sale are typical street prices. G-will does better on day to day beer street prices and is much better on beer sale prices. Also nobody has a decent price on quality NA beers. Man I miss 3.2abv. Stupid MN Leg. Hard liquor is up for grabs between the two depending on sale prices but Cub has better bottom shelf prices and some of their bottom shelf is really not bottom shelf but I am not going to point out any whiskeys for fear they would raise the bottom shelf prices.”

“Wonderful little liquor store in downtown Dayton.In another era it was the Dayton Meat Market.The downtown is like something time forgot about.A very unique place.Up the street a bit is a little bar.Years ago it was owned by the famous boxer, Scott LeDoux. He called it LeDoux’s corner.I wonder if Muhammad Ali ever stopped in for a drink?”
