I was actually asked to write my social security number on a piece of paper to make a deposit for a business account. This is an absurd practice. When I questioned why I was simply told “it’s policy.” I also confirmed I could’ve left the deposit in the night deposit box without issue. Poor customer service, ridiculous polices coupled with poor interest rates. The best CoreTrust can do is 2.50% APY for a SAVINGS account however, you need million dollars minimum. I currently earn 4% on my CHECKING account with only 10k on deposit at a local competitor.

ATM only deposits 20’s on 500 draw. No fee nice. Don’t bother to ask for bill exchange must be a member to swap bills.

Their customer service should make sure their clients ARE on hold before they begin bad-mouthing them without reason.

Their customer friendly approach makes it all work. Quite the contrast to other banks

Once again something is wrong with the ATM, waited and waited, it even made the sound like it was going to dispense money. Just for it to say my transaction was canceled and they couldn’t give me cash...went to a different banks ATM had no issues.

I was a customer of State Bank of Delano for years, and was pretty happy. But now that they are CorTrust, I have some SERIOUS security concerns. A month or so ago, I had called several times to discuss my account, and never once on any of those calls did anyone verify that I was the actual account holder. No date of birth. No last 4 digits of the social security number. They didn't even ask me for the actual account number!! I just had to give my name and I was able to discuss specifics of my account, and even add a beneficiary. That is really scary to me. And what is even more upsetting is, that when I wanted documentation of the beneficiary being added to my account, the document I was mailed was not sent via certified mail. It had EVERYTHING on it: My full name and address, my full social security number and date of birth, my phone number, my email address, my full driver license number...it even had my signature!....It had everything anyone could possibly need to steal my identity. Needless to say, I'm super thankful and LUCKY that this document was delivered to me, and not lost, or sent to someone else in error. But I'm also super unhappy and scared at how lax this bank is with people's information. I'm seriously considering switching banks.

I really appreciate the customer service from Mel. She is always willing to help with a friendly smile, even when she is clearly busy. Mel is capable of dealing with some complex situations and handles everything with a calm manner.

System issues seem to be a norm with this bank! Have no clue where my accounts sit since I can’t see anything online or even at a atm. I can’t even see if the bank manager returned a wrongful fee that I was charged like he said he was going to give back! Of course the first time he did not return it like he said he would, so I’m still waiting to see if it was returned after saying he would for a second time. I wish our old bank would not have left!!

CorTrust Bank online banking still down after being down all weekend. Don't know if I need to transfer money from one account into another. Any overdrafts? Guess who's going to swallow the charges. Getting ready to repost my original review from when Wendy Gilmer was President. South Dakota has low expectations: most worthless bank in Minnesota.

This bank is a joke. They do have some staff that are great but the Bank Manager and Account Manager's are for from professional. For instance, I deposited a 401k Printed Fruad Proof check endorsed by both my self and my wife an evening ago and per the usual funds were available be8ng the type of check it was. Next morning (after we paid our bills and some open dept) they freeze the check making the account over $2000 negative. Mind you the night before, the entire balance was made available and we started paying bills and such. Now, after all that they hold over $5960 and tell us it wont be availble for 7 working days. This bank is a joke, stay far away, close your accounts and go somewhere else. To top all this off, we have been running Direct Deposit for over 10 years into this account. Terrible people. Stay away from Lori.

I was only able one roll of quarters from Coborn's. So I thought should not be problem to get a roll of quarters in the Delano drive thru. I was asked if I had an account there. I said no, the young man was super rude about it and sent my 10 dollar bill back. My own bank never asks if I have account there, when I just need a roll of quarters. I went to the other bank in town and it was no problem to get a roll of quarters and the lady there could not have been nicer.

The employees from State Bank of Delano are amazing and friendly. The new CorTrust, not so much. Hours of service are very inconvenient and they charge for everything. Dealt with an Emily via email regarding electronic deposits, she was not helpful or friendly.
