Since moving here last summer from Alexandria this has been my GO TO GYM! Great staff and the gym is very clean! All the machines and free weights to get a great workout!

When the company/owner gaslights bad reviews I'm going to rate them what they deserve! The owner responding to someone explaining the cancelation process. The owner making it obvious they are telling the truth about the cancelation process. Gaslight that review and go out of business! Stop being evil business owner!

I am very pleased with this gym. It us small but I have never had to wait for equipment. When there are group classes sometimes I have to be more flexible but I try to work around them. I am very impressed about all the equipment they have. I visited a number of gyms before I decided on Anytime. For the money this is a great investment! The gym itself is pleasant and very clean. Love the fact that I have I have input into purchase of new equipment.

This membership was harder to cancel than the rent on my apartment!! I've wasted hundreds of dollars, literally a paycheck's worth of money on a gym I don't use. Save yourself & your credit card & do business elsewhere. At my gym in my hometown, I cancelled my membership by slipping a note under her door of her office with my last month's payment. Anytime fitness? I had to go to the post office, send them a certified letter, and that would have been my 30-day notice if I hadn't scrambled to get an immediate cancellation approved. But that's JUST the membership. That didn't cancel the personal training sessions! That was a whole other shenanigan, where I have to sign a different contract that would begin a separate 30-day notice. No immediate cancellation was offered there. It would be nice if clients could get a notice when their payments are about to auto-renew, and give clear instructions on how to cancel it in time. But I guess that wouldn't have gotten them the hundreds of dollars they are taking from me.Do yourself a favor & take your business elsewhere.

I've been a member of Anytime Fitness for several years. I like the facilities, including treadmills, weight machines and free weights. I usually go when there are few people there, so I normally don't have to wait to use any equipment.

It’s good and all. Doesn’t have the best set of equipment but you can make due no problem. Lots of cardio machines

Called last February on how to cancel my membership and couldn't come in due to moving far away. Manager said I had to send in a form that was signed and I asked if it was ok to send by email. He said yes so I sent it by email. Fast forwards over 30 days past email. They charge me again. I say well I don't owe that so I contact my CC company and dispute. They say the dispute was approved. Fast forward six months, get a call from a collections company saying I owe them a balance for it. Call the gym and they say that I should have sent it by mail because that's what the contract says. So they willingly mislead me because I thought that I had no reason to record that phone call where he said yes. Do not get a membership here. Already got my parents and a friend to switch gyms.

I joined and paid for an entire year with a personal trainer at the Dilworth gym. Due to pandemic shut down I had to sign up at a Fargo location. I have asked for a refund but they refuse to give it to me. I missed the refund policy by a couple of days so they will not even consider my request. They never once asked why I wanted a refund and go right to the “contract dates” that I was never informed of. My reasoning is that there is zero security for your personal belongings and during a pandemic I just don’t want to go to a gym, trusting their cleaning habits. Don’t ever ask to speak to an owner, Richard will not let you, nor will he reach out you unless via email. He has the trainer reach out to you. Now I have a trainer that I paid over $2000 up front and I don’t even have a membership. They are willing to work with extending the time with my trainer but then I have to yet pay them more money to just be able to walk in the club. Ironically the front door was open, not secure the first two weeks I tried them out. That brings up my second reason why I wanted out. There is no way for you to secure your valuables. It’s either leave it in the lobby unattended or leave it in your car. This was at a period where gyms in the FM area were having break ins in the cars in the parking lot.I suggest if you’ve read this this far to not give anytime fitness anywhere your money. By the way, I was told that if you only use the excercize equipment there and not get a trainer that you’d be wasting your money anyway.

Just like everyone else reviewing this gym, they stole money from me and everyone other member. This place is not to be trusted.

Paid my final payment in July 2020 and was told no payments would come out in August. Guess again. Payments came out in August. FML! Voicemail left and still waiting for a call back. It's an ok gym but the payments and contract are painful!Update 11 August 2020: possible resolution in progress. Individual didn't cancel family plan like discussed. Only cancelled mine. Finally got through on the phone yesterday. I'm watching the accounts for reimbursement.

Hard lesson to learn but I would never go to Anytime Fitness again. Manager was rude and dismissive. So glad to be done with them!

This gym literally stole money from its customers during the pandemic. The manager, Ryan, is very unprofessional.

Anytime Fitness autopay pulled from my bank DURING COVID SHUTDOWN! Also, the end of our contract was during the closures, so we had an impossible time trying to figure that out. We called, e-mailed, left voice messages... and then when they came back, they forced us to pay fees and for a last month that we didn't want, as it was outside our original signed year-long contract! Totally a fraud. The owner should really give us an apology call AND a refund! ??
