Renting from Acar was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Dave at the Hibbing airport was super courteous and hooked me up with a spotless Camry hybrid; dropoff in Duluth was just as easy. When I asked about an Uber, they offered to take me where I was going! Nice cars, good service, nice people!!

10/10 Service, So glad I went with this group over the basic Hertz or Enterprise (I’m a member of both). Had a few changes prior and during my rental contract and Dan was more than helpful. I will only be renting from here when I am anywhere close to Duluth.

After renting with acar auto never went anywhere else. Fast easy reliable, love that they are a small local business. I recommend them. Make sure ask about milage and have a clear explanation of what's expected of you or you'll end up on the naughty list (do not rent) for too many miles put on the vechile 😉 both guys great to work with! Highly recommend

Dan was very helpful, professional and provided a stress-free and hassle-free experience. I would recommend using Acar Auto Rental over any car rental company at the Duluth airport or surrounding areas. They went above and beyond!!!!

When my car was getting fixed in the shop, the insurance company arranged a rental from this location. I worked with Dan, he was so incredibly accommodating. I was able to pick up the car after hours, and when it was time to drop it off, he allowed me to leave it at the auto body shop and he picked it up for me. Whenever I had a question, I was able to communicate directly with Dan through text (my preference). I didn’t know this business existed, and now I will not go with any other company moving forward when I need a rental. They made things so easy and convenient. A++

The place is very rude towards Customers. Last Night we got excepted then this morning we had to change stuff all because we did not have a Credit Card . Then Dan felt with us This Morning and was rude to the guys and Denied us because a DL was out of state. They were not liking the fact that Someone else was paying for them. Dan was just not great to work with. Horrible experience. The Guy last night excepted us . Please do not trust this Company. This is wrong!!

Just completed a great experience with Acar Rental in Duluth. So appreciated the personal service, the flexible accommodation, and especially, the economical rates when all of the major rental companies were at least twice the price due to an event weekend. Do not be put off by the simple, plain entryway to the Duluth office because the rental cars are every bit as clean, well appointed, and in excellent condition as any from a major rental company. I will definitely be contacting Acar again the next time I need a rental car in Duluth.

dealt with people that were very unfriendly and the car I rented was make a very loud noise like something was about to break. After I returned the rental car, they came after me for damages and tried to make me pay for something that was already wrong with the vehicle. renters beware.

This car rental place is reasonablly priced and staff are very friendly. Rented car for a few days, and they gave me a decent rate for small car. Several vehicle types. Much cheaper than chain companies.
