Horrid place with no respect for their patients at all. Stay away from them. They still use carrier pigeons for their documents. The receptionist is rude as all hell to boot. Very unprofessional and tbh their products suck. My lens fell out and broke so now I don’t have glasses and can’t see. These asshats refuse to help me so I can get temp Pair of glasses since there is a 6 month wait for eye exams here in Shelby nc. All I needed was my prescription so I can get some temporary glasses online.

I made a very last minute appointment to get my prescription renewed and the women working today were amazing! They were friendly and kind, I never felt rushed or unheard. A very large shoutout and thank you to Haleigh. Your kindness absolutely made my day and I left in happy tears. Highly recommend America’s Best and their staff. ❤️

Was very grateful they got me in so quick for an eye exam. But their lack of the ability to take either one of my insurances made more expensive endeavors with them difficult. I have to go to a company that would take both of my insurances which resulted in a substantial savings for new glasses. Good people at that store though.

I bought my glasses 2 years ago at the America's Bests' Duluth, MN location. My glasses have been without sturdy having to look like a pair of safety glasses. America's Best has a fantastic selection of frames. I returned to this location and purchased 2 new pair. The eye examination procedure was good, despite being on Zoom. The measuring and vision numbers, were done by professionals in-house. All of the people at the Duluth location were friendly, helpful and professional.

I have nothing but praise for America's best. Friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful! I had some unusual requests, and they were able to accommodate me. I will use them again, and again!

Came in to look for a new pair of glasses and was ignored by every employee until the sweetest little angle by the name of Haleigh came over to help, she gave me her undivided attention and helped me pick out the most flattering glasses I’ve ever seen on myself. I have a lazy eye and if is wasn’t for Haleigh I would still be too embarrassed to leave the house, but with these new glasses and the support from one of the best customer service employees I’ve ever came across I am finally able to feel pretty. Unfortunately my insurance won’t cover the glasses we picked out but as soon as I get paid you best believe I’m going down there to get them.

The only vision center that I’ve ever left with a 100% accurate prescription. Every place I’ve gone prior to Americas Best wasn’t able to get my eyes correct, and I always left with a new prescription, but never the right one. They were able to get me in the same day I inquired about an appointment! My eyes are in pretty rough shape, and even with needing to spend extra money for special lenses, the cost of a glasses/contacts exams, a new pair of glasses and two boxes of contacts was significantly less than anywhere else I’ve been. Plus all of the employees were so lovely! I highly recommend swinging into here to get your eyes checked. ?

1 star is 1 too many. 3 times having lenses corrected. 2 times for contacts and neither got fixed. They did offer to correct the lenses in the glasses again, but I said no, I want a refund please. I also inspected my frames and there is a repaired crack in them to. I vote "NOT AMERICAS BEST"

they are under new management and are very helpful. Remote exams are a different way of getting your eyes checked! Still very thorough. It was a great overall experience and I didn't get charged an arm and a leg.

We've always had great service at the Duluth location. They are quick to help and very friendly. The prices just can't be beat. I've been happy with the glasses I have purchased there. Hailey helped us this last time, and she was great.

Their $79 deal is actually $79! ? I know this sounds stupid, but I have gone in for these kinds of deals at other places and you never actually get the deal offered! Of course, they have better/more expensive glasses, but they have some really cute ones you can get with the deal too! And I love they didn’t spend the entire time I was there, trying to upsell me! Every person in the office offered a smile, and a friendly “hello”, and the ones I worked one on one with were super knowledgeable and super friendly! The online doctors visit (you do at their office) was the same as any in person visit I’ve done. This was my first time here, I will never go anywhere else! A+!

I had glasses in Minneapolis area done- 1 computer and 1 distance/computer and they messed it up and did both computer. I returned to Duluth and they corrected it immediately and mailed them back to me. I appreciate the "ACCURATE" and "CUSTOMER SERVICE" from this store. Thanks to Cathryn the Assist Manager and rest of the staff. I will surely come back to Duluth!!!

Horrible customer service - the worst I have experienced in my 30 years of wearing corrective lenses! A trainee started my exam and a supervisor eventually joined the room but the trainee kept doing the testing. They said the doctor was remote and not there in person. The supervisor was incredibly rude and snotty the entire time. She snapped at me, saying that if I made my appointment online they would have informed me the doctor was remote. I do not recall seeing that information and I would not have gone there if I had known that ahead of time. She also snapped at me for asking the trainee to warn me when the air burst was coming on the eye test. Every other optometrist I have ever gone to has given me that warning so I don’t “squint” the whole time waiting for it.The trainee could not get an acceptable photo of my eye so instead of taking over like a supervisor should do, the supervisor told me they could not finish my exam.It was a complete and utter waste of my time. The trainee did add that there would be no charge for the visit. Seriously! As if I would have paid for … what? The pleasure of their company??If you want to experience a trainee who can’t work the equipment, a supervisor who doesn’t step in to do the job right, a televised “doctor,” and rudeness from the get-go, by all means visit this place! For quality eye care, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
