After picking up my dog from Bark Avenue my dog slept and didn't eat or drink for 2 days, it shook everytime you would talk to her. She cleary was traumatized from her experience there, she has been groomed many other times at different groomers with out any issues. And she also is limping on one of her hind legs and can't get up on the chair or bed anymore. I'm certain the groomer was aggressively manipulating her to groom her. So now a trip to the vet to get her checked out. A note to the owner of Bark Avenue, don't force a dog to be groomed if they aren't will to comply. 60 bucks isn't worth traumatizing a dog. I would have much rather came and picked her back up to save her this trauma. And maybe ask questions before you groom dogs to see what special treatment they may require. My dog that you forcefully groomed was my deceased brothers dog and now you have destroyed our peace all for 60 bucks in your pocket. I've read other reviews here that reflect abuse and neglect as well too. I guess that's why Bark Avenue was not a long wait to get my dog in because other local groomers are fully booked and Bark Avenue is not for a reason. Please don't roll the dice and take your dog here.

Excellent local groomer who takes care of my English Angora bunny's grooming needs 3-4 times a year. It's hard to find a groomer who will accept rabbits, especially one you can trust. Careful and professional, really knows her stuff and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

The groomer who answers the phone left my dog on the table when she went up to the front to answer the phone. My dog fell off and was hanging from the leash they have them tethered to while grooming. She injured her eye. They did pay my vet bill, but never went back. Dogs should NEVER be left on the table for any reason. This groomer didn’t learn anything, as she still leaves dogs to answer the phone. An extremely improper thing to do, irresponsible at best.

My 3 pups were way overdue for a trim due to me being in Duluth for work and almost 4 hours away from my normal groomer. All three of them just look absolutely beautiful! The price is fair also. Will definitely go back!

I took my chihuahua here and I love them. I haven’t had a dog I. Yrs. Because I had cats. I did get a lecture to not let friends do her nails because once she starts trying to bite they quit, so when I brought her back she was trying to bite Robin (she was really good the first time). I need advice and I welcome it. She didn’t do her her inner nails however; I’m not upset. I called tonite to see if I can bring her back in to get her nails finished. I really love these guys and welcome their advice. My pup is spoiled, I love her very much. I will take advice anytime though.
