The West Duluth salon is the worst - Because the longtime manager runs it so poorly. Over years she has created a horrible work culture for her other stylists. Went in there to get my childs haircut, nobody was there, it would’ve taken them all of five minutes to cut his hair quickly. One stylist was braiding the managers hair and the manager said that they didn’t have time, they were booked today. We weren’t able to book online. We were at the dollar store for a half an hour before, and there was nobody in there when we walked by the first time. Lazy work ethic. Not the first, second, or third time this is happened with the manager. The actual owner must be clueless . Every time I try to give them another chance and go there, the manager disappoints me. She’s been doing what she does for too long, and has been given too much unsupervised power at that salon. Maybe if the manager didn’t have her stylist doing her own hair, they would’ve realized that they were there to make money. Hate that salon. Never going back.

I had the absolute worst experience today went in to get a trim just to get my dead ends off and Tracy cut at least 5 inches off while asking me how much I wanted cut off then left me with chunks of layers that do not blend, that I also never asked for because I told her I need to put my hair up in a bun for work and left in tears and am still crying for how botched my hair looks and now will not fit into even a ponytail!! I will never go back to this Cost cutters and hope my review saves others from going through what I went through today. Very upset and disgusted.

Needed a haircut. Called ahead and got walk in time. Perfect cut, reasonable price, friendly stylists and the place was very clean

I have shoulder length hair but my hair is shaved underneath, I wanted a LITTLE higher than my ears. One side is shaved higher up than the other and the back is shaved almost to the top of my head. I'm not happy!Service: Haircut

Wasn't too happy about being left in the chair for 5 minutes while the stylist waited on customers coming in. Also, Stylist wasn't trained on the Cost Cutter App. Asked how points would be populated into the App for my visit - told me to enter information from my receipt (total guess).

Staff is friendly and listens to what you want done. Easy to get into for a same day haircut with limited wait. Prices are great, they are the go to place for our entire family when it comes to hair cuts!

Went for a haircut. All advertising says the place opens at 9. I showed up at 9, is now 9:45. The door is still locked. Been getting my haircut here for 11 years. Not coming back.
