They call the cops on people, just because. Saw it on live stream. I won't shop here.
Update: You want me to call and let you know to treat people with decency? Why?

Not a friendly place they judge you and call the cops before even asking you to leave

Called the cops on me telling me to leave without first contacting me, which wastes PD time and resources. I was on tiktok live for two hours there and there are MANY witnesses who can attest that I was not asked to leave by anyone. The nice police officers were baffled too. Do better, Cub.

I live about 1 1/2 hours from Cub Foods, in Duluth, and ran in just to grab a couple of things, during this busy holiday season. Saw Land O Lakes butter on sale for $3.99 a pound. Picked up two, for holiday baking. When I got home, I noticed I had been charged $6.29 per pound. I called the store and explained the situation. In a clipped voice, they asked, “Did you use your rewards card?” I replied, I didn’t know there was such a thing. Her response was, “Yep, sorry!” Click. That’s customer service? I won’t be going back!

Manager on shift in the self checkout area was unhelpful and had an attitude when asking a question

Big, clean, well stocked store with wide selection.
Bakery, deli with hot food, butcher counter and nice produce.
However, the the prices are ~20% higher than other options in town across the board. Sale prices are the same or higher than others regular price.

I used to love shopping at this place, but within the last few years, it’s just better to avoid it. The isles are spacious and almost feel endless at times, everything is organized and labeled, other customers are delightful to be around, however once you go to check out,
You have to decide between Fast Lanes or having assistance from a cashier, I usually go for the fast lanes as it does take longer going through a cashier, waiting in line while they chat, even after all groceries are scanned and paid for,
and once again, this day I chose the fast lanes as yet once more, on the regular, the cashiers are chatting about nonsense.
While they’re chatting, I’m needing assistance at the seemingly, unmanned fast lanes. I waited several minutes for someone to notice that my system is not working but nothing. I finally moved all my items to another register for the cashier to deal with when they get to it.
During this, a line is forming on the fast lanes, one of the fast lanes is completely turned off and the one I was previously using is stuck on one screen, leaving 2 fast lanes available.
Everyone noticed, employees walking by that realized what was going on but it’s “not their problem”.
This store does not care about the people that shop.

So easy to find whatever you need! Just like walmart, they labeled all aisles and such which makes shopping so easy!!

Very high priced! It’s actually amazing how much things cost compared to their competitors.

Workers are wonderful!!! sad that whomever owns this store doesn't care about it. You can clearly see they are not putting any money into this store. The fast lanes are so outdated it's not even funny, they are in desperate need of replacing. The store needs some remodeling!

There was only one cashier working so I opted for the self checkout. I had quite a bit of groceries. Unfortunately, I also just had surgery on my foot so am wearing a boot and am hobbling around. I was fumbling with my bags. The employee that was monitoring the self checkout was walking around with her hands in her pocket yelling over me to the other cashier about lunch or something. I asked the lady to help with an item that wasn’t ringing up the sale price. I could not have been more of an inconvenience to her. She snapped at me put in a code and walked away. Again, I was still the only person in the self checkout lane. As I managed to wrestle all my bags in the cart, I walked past her she kept her head down and didn’t say a word. No, “thanks for doing my job”, “have a nice day”, “do you need help?” Epic fail on so many levels. 👎 (Incidentally, there were 4 employees in my vicinity and not one looked up, offered to help, smile, or help the elderly couple in the regular check out line bag their groceries despite the cashier not having to wait on any one else). 🙄

Yesterday my wife and I were in Cub foods in Duluth. I was looking for a product when the meat cutter asked if he could help. Andrew is his name. But the store doesn't carry what I want. Then my wife asked Andrew another question. We still had no luck. But Andrew went above and beyond his duty. This man is a credit to your company. Please make sure he knows how much help he was.
Thank you Andrew.

Over priced. Cheap bags. Rude employees couldn’t be bothered to greet us upon entering or exiting.

Thanksgiving dinners: This year we tried it for the first time, and we were just blown away by how tasty everything was! Moist turkey, smooth mashed and sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, gravy, cranberry relish, pumpkin pie. All were just like the best home-made in quality and taste. Warming instructions for oven or microwave were clear and worked 100%. Pickup process was flawless. Containers the food came in, we washed and used for guests to take home leftovers. I will never do another exhausting Thanksgiving cook-a-thon - this was so much better, really another planet, so relaxing. Very grateful to Cub's wonderful deli staff and curbside staffers.
