Always looks grimey and disorganized and they're pumping tons of some really strong smelling toxic air freshener through the HVAC. Makes me think the building is moldy or something and they're trying to mask it. I get an immediate headache every time I stop there.

I never leave reviews on anything but I can’t keep this in anymore. I have shopped at this goodwill since I was a child. It’s one of my favorite places in Duluth. Until a few months ago when they started pumping in some strong cleaner smell. It’s unbearable. I can’t be in there for more than 5 minutes without getting a headache. It’s the strongest smell I’ve ever smelled in my life. I don’t even mind the old musty thrift store smell! I just can not deal with the new smell of the place and I don’t know how anyone can either. PLEASE stop using whatever it is to clean or “freshen up” the air. It’s atrocious. I want to shop there again.

Absolutely hate how they ask for donations at the register, they got this stuff for FREE . CEO’s of this company receive yearly bonuses on averaging $650,000

Prices are high and on multiple occasions of going in, employees are scrambling to get things off the racks and shelves that have the color of the day. Some get irritated if you look through their carts too. Sick of this company being so greedy... I know it's not just this location and it's so disgusting

I like the thrift store and the bins, but I HATE all the cheap new products that are available in the store. If I wanted that stuff I would go to a retail store. I go to thrift stores for somewhat of a deal on used items

Goodwill in Duluth, Garfield Ave is excellent place to both donate most any reusable items, and buy the goodies you need for our fast-moving change of seasons.

You go there to give a donation of gently used items and the staff that comes out are the rudest people you could come across. The dta stride bus parks in front of the doors to drop off and pick up people and to pull in there drop off donation spot is not easy when that's there and it makes the attendents there even more crabby and rude to you and they throw a huge fit about it. There is no need for it especially when you as a person is trying to do something good..I will no longer donate items to that location and won't have to worry about it since they are closing next year.

We like this Goodwill as it has such a wide variety and always find something unique.

The outlet store is a joke. Bedding, blankets and sheets all mixed in with the clothes. They just leave the old clothes in the bins and throw new stuff on the top. Some stuff is so dirty and torn that it should just be thrown out.

Goodwill Duluth - The worst of all worlds. High priced, inconvenient location, untested goods with no refunds. AVOID. Zero stars.
Greedwill strikes again. The selection and prices here are some of the worst I've seen across the entire US. Comically poor selection. What little that actually makes it to the sales floor is often well above market value on ANY platform.
They don't seem to realize that the retail store is an important piece of their longevity and (I would assume), where they obtain a majority of the free goods that they now peddle gleefully online for top dollar on their poorly ran marketplace.
Keep wringing out them nickels though, see where it gets you. Maybe invest in some Black Diamond VHS? You've got it all under control I'm sure. Bunch of pros.

One star for the Lisa Kleypas books I found, but otherwise Goodwill seriously needs a wake up call on their business structure. This star was even worse than the ones in the Cities, the prices were SO high and the shelves nearly empty.

There are always those unique items in clothing or household that are fun to find at a Goodwill.
