Good selection of treats but the $5 truffles I bought were so meh that I only ate 1 of them
Staff also seemed annoyed that me and my boys were in the store (even though they were mostly well behaved, albeit a bit excited)
I’ll avoid going here in the future

The candy store itself is fun to look around. However, the truffles are over-priced. Most of the candy is priced, but not the truffles. I think for a reason.

Disappointed not as kid friendly as in the past. Disappointed that we will be looking for an alternative in the future. We had been coming here for years.

When I purchase from local businesses I love hearing about how they were started, what inspired the owner, family history that contributes to the shop. I innocently asked where the chocolates were made and the lady working the counter said I can't tell you because the owner doesn't want anyone to know. She reassured me it was from a high quality dessert place. That turns me off from supporting this place. I suspect they buy Abdallah chocolates and resell them at a much higher cost. I agree with other reviewers that the prices are too high and the product is not fancy or fresh. They charged nearly $9 for 1 chocolate covered Oreo, 1 PB cup, and 1 coconut haystack.

I try to support small business as much as possible. But very overpriced. With no $ on the glass we bought 4 chocolates that were like cake pops for over $20.It is canal park, so it maybe the market for it. But I only tried those chocolates so can’t comment on other choices in there.

Inaccurate hours, hard to judge the candy when you’re closed early

A must stop for my family every trip we take to Duluth. The boys just call it “THE candy shop” Jelly Bellies of every flavor, and the chocolate rocks are always a hit. Thanks for being a constant in our lives. ❤️?

I've stopped in this shoppe on 3 different visits and it's harder to get waited on than a college bar. Never crowded but the staff has not once engaged me or my family, instead refusing to wait on us as we stand at the counter. Not going back.

Service was just okay. Walked in yesterday and experienced cold and awkward service. The shoppe owner seemed a bit indifferent and crass as well. Totally ironic within a sweet candy shoppe. The candy itself was neat -- a few local products and many chocolate truffles to choose from. Plenty of generic candies as well that you'll find at other spots. Although the candy itself was good, it was way overpriced. Just a few pieces of candy cost close to $20. The bottom line? Chocolate truffles were delicious. Decadent and full of rich chocolate flavor. The English toffee looked good as well. I may get that next time I revisit Duluth. Service needs a bit of a revamp though. It's a small little shoppe. You can't miss it if you're shopping and browsing within the area. Try it for yourself if you have a sweet tooth. Here's hoping you have a sweeter experience.

Lots of potential with seemingly many sweet options. However, the candy was quite overpriced and the selections we took home (about $40 worth) were hard and tasted old.

Friendly staff, great selection (chocolate covered orange peels are awesome!). Glad I stumbled upon it.
