This place has such a cool vibe. I had my first cut with Sam. Sam spent time with me talking about my hair and exactly how I wanted it cut. She found photos on her phone to show me and discuss options. Then she cut my hair very confidently and evenly. I have tried 6 different stylists in Cloquet and Duluth and finally found someone who cuts my hair exactly how I want it, after having the same stylists in the Twin Cities for 19 years.

This was my first time at Hustle + Heart. Kathryn was lovely. She listened to what I wanted and encouraged and supported my decision. Very professional and was nice to talk to. Am definitely planning on going back.

I am from the Twin Cities and wasn't sure where to go when I needed my hair styled for a formal event. So glad I chose here because Megan was great and made my morning!
I had so many compliments on the hairstyle she did and it held all night long! I will definitely be saving this place as my go to when I am in the area and in need of hair care.

My first experience here and I absolutely loved it!! Sam brought my hair to life! I am so happy with my hair cut, it truly looks amazing! I gave a few ideas of what I was looking for and Sam worked her magic and created a masterpiece. The conversation was also very enjoyable and intentional. This place is so welcoming, warm and kind. Very easy to find and parking and building access was easy for my morning appointment! Such a pleasant experience!

Megan just made me feel pretty again after a hair color mistake I made at another salon. I’ve seen her, Sam, and Delaney at H&H and all have done a nice job with both color and cuts on my mane. Their products aren’t harsh and smell great and I always find a parking spot right out front.

I am so sad that I didn't try this salon sooner!! I'm moving away and I think I might just have to visit whenever I need a new cut. I have semi-thick naturally curly hair and I wasn't sure what service I needed because I've never had my hair done by someone I don't know. I called the salon and they were happy to help me figure out what I was looking for and the product was perfect! Exactly what I was expecting (and actually so much better than I could've imagined). Danielle was so awesome and I loved the experience. The salon is clean, eco-friendly, sustainable, and in an awesome historic building. Parking isn't awesome but it's Duluth, so what do you expect? They send tips and advice via email before your appointment and are super kind. I highly highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a new place!

Stylist: Absolutely adore the vibe at Hustle and Heart Salon! From the moment I walk in, I feel welcomed and pampered. Meg is a true gem – not only does she work her magic on my hair, but she also makes me feel like a million bucks every time. (Plus we laugh a lot) The quality of service here is top-notch, and I always leave feeling like a brand new person. Can't recommend this salon enough for anyone looking for a fabulous hair experience!

This was my first time trying Hustle + Heart. I typically get cheap haircuts once a year but took a gamble this time in hopes to avoid the second fixer haircut that often follows the initial cheap one. Not only did my stylist provide a great cut, she also styled it and showed me how to complete the style at home when I'm on my own. That type of service is why I will be a customer for life.
