About Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center
The Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center is a free service of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Duluth, MN. The center provides exhibits and information about Great Lakes Shipping as well as a schedule of cargo vessel arrivals and departures. They also sell the National Park Service's America the Beautiful passes, though they can only accept checks or money orders. Visitors praise the center as a "free and lots of great information" attraction, where they can watch the big freighters come into the canal and under the lift bridge. It's described as a "fun experience" and a "must-see" museum that is "very clean and very nice." The center is conveniently located in the popular Canal Park area, allowing visitors to also enjoy the Lakewalk and see the Lighthouse.

This is a must visit place in Duluth. I get to share this with my kids, like my parents did with me.

I great place to visit. The displays are amazing and can see they spent a great deal of time designing and thought putting them together.
