Miller Hill Mall is a shopping destination on the shores of Lake Superior, attracting visitors from the Duluth area, the Iron Range, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Canada. It is a good local shopping center with a good selection of 108 stores, featuring women’s apparel, jewelry, and sporting goods at popular stores like JCPenney, Barnes & Noble, and Dick’s Sporting Goods. It is a clean mall with nice bathrooms and a nice atmosphere, making it a wonderful place to spend a few hours shopping and hanging out with friends. Once you’ve shopped up an appetite, there are many restraunts and food court options, including Applebee’s, Noodles & Co, Five Guys, Stir Fry Express, and Pretzelmaker. The Chinese buffet fast food was noted as unique with very good food and ice-cold drinks. The mall hosts events throughout the year and has a large parking lot all the way around, with good bus service provided by the DTA. However, with the loss of Yonkers and Sears, and a section now rented by Essenia hospital, the future is interesting. A roof collapse in March 2023 made it hard to get around, but there was good signage to guide you. Overall, it is a good mall.
Pretty solid place. I see that many places are closing down inside like Eddie bower and more but I’m sure they will be replaced by other pop up stores. It’s very busy and be prepared for tough parking. 🅿️ There are many stores inside the mall that will suite your needs.
