Our Doodle had her first grooming with Car at Petco today. I could not be anymore pleased at how everything went. All the groomers were so sweet and kind and professional.. “ Car” you did such an amazing job! We definitely will be back soon!

We brought our puppy in to get him introduced to bathing and nail clipping. The staff were very attentive and wonderful, given that he was a bit nervous! He was SO soft and smelled like a tootsie pop in the end. We will be back for services in the future!

Got what I came for, my dog hemp meds and they were on sale, looked at the fishes I like the labels freshwater and salt water section, temperament, and care levels listed.

The cashier knew me from a previous job we worked together and when my bf came in to exchange dog boots for a proper size she had the audacity to text me after a year of no contact a photo of my bf and his whole situation to ask if she could help him and stated he looked like he was from a group home we used to work at because he was In a wheelchair. Then when I called to speak to a manager she answered and when I said I didn’t wanna talk to her and wanted a manager she hung up on me. I did call back and the assistant manager John told me he needed to let the gm know of this and was alarmed. Next day my bf calls and a lady manager states there’s no gm at this location. Gotta love it … how is any of this okay?? Even if you know someone you SHOULD NOT be texting photos of others and assuming all wheelchair bound people are in a group home and then for management to straight up lie to to us.

Hello,I'm actually here in response to a negative review. I am the cashier that is responsible for "Lynette Lyttle's" poor experience.I made mistakes and agree my way about "helping" could have been better. Because I am the one responsible their frustrations are on me! I don't blame this person for not wanting to talk to me but, I want it to be known that currently at this time we do not have a GM at our site. The "manager lady" Lynette's partner had spoken to is taking on many roles of the GM and the assistant manager works closely with them. I can't say their is a staff at Petco that would lie or mislead anyone intentionally. John is a good guy and so are the staff at Petco they should not be targeted for my mistakes. Management has worked with me and I am confident I could give this person and others a better experience given the chance! Thank you! :)

I have tried several groomers in Duluth, Superior and North Branch for my1 1/2 year old Setter-doodle. Car did an amazing job on her difficult hair. The price was reasonable and he was great with Sophie! I can honestly say this is the best cut and grooming experience we have had since we got her!

Great customer service! Helped us find the perfect set up for a new fish tank for our family. Very helpful manager that was kind and informative! We will be back!!

Just stood in the store over an hour waiting for an employee to help me with fish. She gladly helped a bunch of other people but when i asked she was too busy helping her coworkers do other tasks in the store. They need more employees this has been going on for months which is too bad because they have a great fish selection. I left without being helped.

Prices are pretty crazy. Dead goldfish. Betta fish in tiny bowls yet they tell you if you own them they need at least a gallon to comfortably stay in.Wish all the reptiles, hamsters and birds and everything had more privacy/peace. I understand wanting customers to be able to see the animals but you can tell they're stressed and they're always hiding.The hermit crabs we got were completely hidden but now are very active(yes I know they're nocturnal and usually inactive in daytime)They also asked if I wanted to save $10 by hoping the vital pet rewards. I said yes (obviously, right?) Turns out they automatically bill you for 12 MONTHS! and you can't cancel. They did not explain this to me and I thought it was a normal rewards program. And since I signed up for small animals/reptiles I only get discounts on that stuff.. not for stuff I buy for my cats it anything else-i would need to add another profile basically and pay even more per month. ?

I recently had an experience at Petco that left me quite disenchanted. Upon entering the store, I found that the employees were noticeably disengaged, focused more on their phones than on the customers.When I approached the counter, ready to check out, I was surprisingly instructed to navigate through a maze of impulse buys, despite there being no line or apparent reason for the detour. The frustration grew as I noticed two employees idly standing by, apparently unwilling to assist.To add insult to injury, the clerk who finally attended to me displayed an unwarranted attitude, making me feel as though my presence was an inconvenience. This was not only unprofessional but entirely uncalled for.I understand that working in retail can be challenging, but that's no excuse for such a lack of courtesy and attentiveness. A simple inquiry into whether I needed help, coupled with respectful treatment, would have made all the difference.Regrettably, this experience has soured my view of Petco. Customer service should be a priority, and on this occasion, it was severely lacking. If you value a pleasant shopping experience, you may want to consider other options.

It's a decent store, usually, but on this trip, a couple of the employees were visiting with a friend? By the doors, swearing loudly and carrying on. which normally would have been fine, minus the language. It's a family store where kids go, and the f bomb was very loudly dropped by both employees, and their friend several times while I was waiting with my 4 year old grandchild to check out. Couldn't find a manager to report it to, and they didn't care when I asked them to stop. Probably won't bring my business back there when I have my grandchild.

I did automatic delivery for my dogs food for over a year. I stopped because you use door dash and do not tip the dashers.Otherwise, the customer service in store is amazing and I will continue to purchase from petco.
