Very sad the prices they charge for insurance these days so that one would think that they would be protected in case of an accident when in all they can pick and choose who they want to pay and what claims they want to settle on regardless of what's right was involved in an accident was a passenger in the vehicle because the other drivers were too shook up to remember the passenger in the vehicle they were able to deny my claim even though the driver of the vehicle says I was there my boss seen us leave together 3 minutes before the accident now I'm stuck with injuries medical bills very shady they did everything they could to get out of paying what day owed so just because you're paying them a ton of money every month don't think that you are protected because they can pick and choose who gets treated fairly

Very dishonest practices and rude service. I live in an state where it snows and gets very cold most of the year. The motorcycle season is about 3 to 4 months. This year I decided since my motorcycle gets wrapped and put in storage from later September till mid June I'd cancel the insurance and not pay $70 a month while not using it. Both representatives were extremely rude and condescending to me. The first refused to cancel anything and had her own attitude with me before sending me to her cancelation person. The guy in cancelation was worse and having all kinds of threats if I cancel. He tried the pay for liability scheme. I said why pay anything for something I'm not using. He then said I had to keep full coverage if I had a loan on it. I advised I paid outright for the bike and am the sole title holder. He then said he had to charge me a one months extra fee for cancelation. I said that's crazy because I'd be paying for a month of service I'm not getting. He then said I was going to be reported to the department of motor vehicles as uninsured and when I get insurance again I'd be charged for the months I didn't carry insurance. Then he hung up on me and immediately sent me an email for a bill of the cancelation fee and listed it as past due. This type of fraud committed by insurance companies will now be brought to the attention of state legislators to hold insurance companies accountable. If it takes a law to be changed or put in place it will get done as this is my field. The FTC will also get a report and screen shots of documented communications with progressive insurance. Shameful practices and the worst customer service is what you get for your money. Let alone the class action lawsuit for underpaying total loss claims. They may soon find themselves in court for fraudulent practices. Because of how terribly they handled me and my situation I will never in my life use their company again. It's odd to me they wouldn't have wanted to just close my policy until next riding season and open or reinstate it when that time comes. It would have been sensible and retained a customer that encourages others to use their services. Instead they choose to play games with loyal customers and permanently burn bridges. I would have given a negative 5 stars if you could. Unfortunately you must give at least one star to leave a review.

Horrible communication, and after explaining what happened told there's no way the damage matches. I've paid for years on time with no issued now when I need help they only offer partial repair. I pay for full coverage and with having a collision that should be enough evidence of why the car needs repairs. The issues were not delayed noticed right after and started a claim. Now they are working on not having to pay

Would leave neg stars if I could. My parked car was hit, driver (& mom) claim full responsibility. I brought my car in for repair estimate & Progressive is trying to shirk accountability for repairs. Nick called me a liar (without actually saying "liar") & his boss Bill was an even bigger toad, claiming that the accident damage wasn't as major as I reported. All I want is my car to be returned to the condition it was in before the hit&run. Progressive sucks

Scam. I paid for roadside assistance and after using it twice I get an email saying they are dropping my insurance because I used roadside assistance too often. I’m sorry but if I pay for roadside assistance I should not be punished for using it.

I bought a brand new car in 2021 and never had anything happen until just this month and had to wait 2 weeks with a bungee corded bumper. Turns out I'm not covered for a no fault accident because my wife was driving the car and her name wasn't on the policy. Just another way for them to take your money and skate away from paying anything. Maybe all insurance companies are this way but just figured because I pay full coverage I would get full coverage.

I got into a car crash back in October. last I heard from anyone they were waiting for liability from the police report months ago. the claim is still open on my account, I pay full coverage and they never offered a rental. they tried to do everything they could to NOT help me. do not use progressive, they are a money hungry scam of a company. What's the point of paying full coverage if someone hits your car, totals it then your insurance company does literally nothing about it.

Absolutely awful. Thieves. Been paying premiums for years and years. Something goes wrong and they snake their way out of paying. My agent is just as liable. They have great commercials though.

Been waiting to be paid on a supplement from April. Adjuster will not return phone calls or emails. Keep getting the run around at the corporate office. Very frustrating to deal with this

This is bad insurance!! They make it impossible to work with getting repairs done. They will not give enough time for repairs because the policy is set with a short repair time with no exceptions so they get to not pay out full repairs amount and the amount they come up with is not even close to the reality of the cost of repairs. So the hail damage we got on our house had to be fixed in their time with no exceptions even though everyone in town got damage has to share the handful of contractors and winter will shutdown roof work. They say they will not extend or help if we can't get someone on their time line. Progressive said they will do nothing. This is with a full replacement coverage.
