The care is great. However, we paid over $500 for standard vaccinations and check up. This is for one pet, and just one booster shot was $127. I'm not sure if this is normal, but seemed unreasonable. We used to go to Kenyon Vet Clinic and never paid over $300 for all vacs (usually less) and the standard of care in Kenyon is exceptional. It's farther away for us now but apparently worth the drive. I hate to bring this up but feel it needs to be said.

They spend more time trying to upsell you on different products for your petThan examining your animal. They dont tell you about all the gidden fees over the phone until you get therepwtyour

The staff is outstanding. Very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Doctors, Trebelhorn, Wass, & Rodman, are very well versed in their knowledge of Veterinary medicine. The front desk staff does a great job, especially Lori, & Breena.

I like Countryside and Dr. Wass is the best however I found it hard getting Apts for my cats, as left messages with no one ever calling me back. Also tried replying to an email that ironically said they were "past due" for yearly shots but nothing. Had to keep calling till someone actually answered to get my cats in, and one of them was sick!!That one cat is now a diabetic and spent alot of money on blood work ($323 dollars) to find that out, which is fine, as she's part of our family. Bought her insulin at $300 dollars, and had a visit at the vet to learn how to administer to her. I am so disappointed that I was in there for like 3 to 5 minutes and they charged me fir "tech time". It's just the principal. Until she gets stable, and because this is all new, she has to go in more often too to get blood work to monitor her! Bottom line, loving our Vet but not really happy with the clinic.

Started going to this vet clinic back when Mary originally opened the doors many years ago. Dr. Lorang bought the clinic from Mary and we continued to have a great experience. Back then would give 5 stars. Since Dr. Lorang has stepped back, brought in other vets, etc. our experiences have been spotty. Out previous dog was brought to this clinic for almost 14 yrs. Our current dog, which we have also brought solely to this clinic for 13 years, is a very arthritic senior black lab at the end of her life. In about 2-4 weeks we are going to put her down(when the ground is thawed enough to dig a hole to bury her). I called the clinic today to refill our dog's pain meds and only need 2-4 weeks. Staff told me that it has been over a year since the dog has been seen and she would have to talk to the vet in order to get the med refilled. She called me back and said that the dog would have to be seen in order to get a refill. I again said that we were going to be putting the dog down, and I was told that I couldn't get a refill. I told the staff person that I couldn't lift a 90+ lb. dog in and out of the car because she isn't able to help, and it is so hard on the dog. I asked what the purpose of the office visit would be? Just to look at the dog and say, 'yup she's at the end of her life.'?? The whole thing seems inhumane, and my dog will now be in pain until we put her down, which is more inhumane. After 26 years of my business, the next pet will go elsewhere for care.

Friendly, efficient care at an affordable cost. We had an emergency situation with our young cat and was fit in at short notice. While keeping the worry at a minimum for me as an the owner, they made sure to cover all the options available and our "what next" if the treatments didn't work so that I wasn't blindsighted. My cat survived and it's due to their quick actions. Highly recommend them for the whole county.

The entire staff of Countryside Animal Hospital has always been courteous, knowledgeable, and professional with us. We've had nothing but great experiences with them caring for our Field Bred English Springer Spaniels over the years!

I can’t say enough about Dr Trebelhorn. She went above and beyond caring for my Yorkie in her last days and now that I’m bringing home a new puppy the only vet my pup will have is Dr Trebelhorn. Dogs and cats are not a job to her, they matter and she cares about them and about their owners

Always a pleasure to work with these people! Very kind and helpful. We wouldn't trust our pet to anyone else.
