I shopped at this store in early August, and I had the worst experience here with the YOUNG LADY CASHIER. She was contemptuous and discriminatory because I only bought 2 items. She asked me if I needed a bag. Why not? I have to take my pants out without a bag????
while she gave an bag to other customers. I think they should train them again and choose someone who shows respect to the customer.

I never usually have a good experience at this American Eagle location because of the employees. On this particular visit I was trying to apply my yearly 20% off coupon to my order and showed them the barcode that my app brought me to use in person. The cashier was not helpful at all, didn’t say much to me, grabbed my phone opened up the AI chat in the American Eagle app for me to chat with an outside representative. I got no help with that either and was there for longer than I wanted to be. The cashier did not attempt to scan any codes I had and kept putting her face in her hands as though I was doing this on purpose. I ended up walking away without using my 20% off with zero help offered to me and no attempt to make up for it. This is an example of the type of customer service I get here every time so it’s expected. She didn’t end up saying thank you or sorry or anything on my way out. They made me feel as though I was bothering them and almost every employee there wouldn’t acknowledge me and I also stood in line for checkout with no indication of an open register when it was only me up there.

Planned on enjoying a little shopping spree here, but the sales associates all hounded me so much I left without buying anything. Please learn to read the room. Not everyone likes being pestered.

Ordered online for in store pickup, which said it would be ready next day. Never got an email so decided to go out of my way to stop in only to discover nothing had ever been picked and they did not have the item I ordered. Maybe it had been in stock when I ordered it but never got picked. Was told they were short staffed but saw at least 5 employees just standing around the store. Thankful I only shopped here once for a specific gift and won’t return

Was in on 10/23 on the aerie side. EVERY employee was friendly, smiling and KIND! Prefer this location over the Mall of America ones! Good job girls! Keep doing what you are doing!

I was looking at a skirt and couldn’t find my size on the rack, so the store associate helped me to track down the right one on the mannequin and got it for me! I so appreciate them going above and beyond. I’ll definitely be coming back to this store whenever I shop American Eagle!

Weird check out. Had a long long line. Had two cashiers. Get to the last two customers, a man doing a return and my daughter; second cashier finishes up and walks away. We were literally last in line. Waiting an additional 5 min for the return to complete when she could’ve done the one more and had no checkout.

I have never run into such a rude young women at a check out! She stood not inviting us up to check out. When I asked if she was open she said Yah....during check out she would not say a word. When I told her she could save a bag and I could just use a bag I already had, she literally bunched up the shirt I had purchased and overhand threw it in the bag. I said to her I was surprised at the lack of care she showed and she became even more rude. "you said you didn't want a bag!" My husband and I left and went to both Old Navy and Gap where the associates were both friendly and happy. Even thanking me for using and being a member with their credit cards. AE young women didn't even care to ask, when I gave her my information she didn't even acknowledge it. Highly doubt I will use this location again!!!

My experience was great! The staff was very friendly, especially Hanna. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, assisting me in finding exactly what I needed. She exceeded my expectations in customer service.

They refuse to make things right. Bought a pair of pants that ripped the first time I wore them. Customer Service and the store itself refused to make it right even when I asked if I could ship it back. It doesn't make sense for me to drive back to the store to get a refund because I'd spend half the cost on gas. The store response was basically "too bad".

The staff in Aerie need customer service training, super rude. I was waiting to checkout for 10min while 2 girls were gossiping and chatting away right in front of my face - completely ignoring a customer ready to checkout. I should have just left without purchasing anything.Also, the girl continued to gossip with her friend and giggle during checkout. She did not care to apply my rewards to my order even though I asked, but she did not want to bother. I wont be coming back. Disappointing

Wishing there were a bit more of a selection for swim wear, and was hoping for more crop tops, but overall it was a very good experience, and we will be returning to this location in the future.

Rude customer service-one blonde girl stopped looking at me in the middle of my question asking if they had a specific tee shirt for my female friend, and she started having a full on discussion with her co-worker in the middle of the store and continued on taking past me like I wasn’t standing there. It was BIZARRE. She didn’t know how anything worked, I asked about Afterpay as advertised on their desk and she said “I don’t know anything about that” and didn’t ask for assistance. She sent me home with a security tag still on a shirt. I was leaving for two weeks, so that shirt stayed behind. Now I’m back in line for the return and there is only one register so we are all in a long line waiting for a ridiculous long time. This has been the case all three times I have been here. I’ll never come back if this is how AE operates. The current girl working the desk is also very unfriendly, unapologetic, and couldn’t care less about service. She looks like she hates her job. The woman ahead of me looked at me and the people behind and said “good luck”. Yeah, we definitely won’t be back here.
