Went in for a check engine light and Tony looked at my vehicle and told the issue with in minutes. Issue was beyond current shop and told where to go. Tony was helpful and pointed me in the right direction.

Needed an oil change desperately. Was charged more than double what I've been paying at a different place up the street. They also tried to upsell me several things that I did not need that I was able to prove using the CarFax app. They also stripped multiple wheel studs and nuts from my tires and were unable to fix the issue. Employee was extremely rude and condescending. Never coming back here.
Edit to add: a comment was left to call customer service about this complaint. I tried calling multiple times and kept getting disconnected after starting to talk to a person about the issue. Once I was put on hold for 40 minutes before it hung up on me. This company is a joke.

My daughter had an appointment at Eagan store #1401 for an oil change this evening. The appointment for the simple oil change took close to two hours. From the get go, she was subjected to comments about her smile, asked if she had a boyfriend that should be dealing with the issue, and to top it off, was asked out to dinner. She was very uncomfortable. She is concerned because they collected her phone number and address. This behavior is entirely inappropriate for a business.
**I called the customer service number as directed. The were receptive to my complaint and I believe it is being handled appropriately.

Bought my tires off Amazon and I chose CarX to do the installation. Got an email telling me to bring my car in between 8AM-9AM a week after my purchase. Brought my car in at 8AM on the Saturday, dude behind the counter said it would’ve been done by 12 PM . Show up at 12noon my car was not even moved from where I left it 4 hrs ago. Then he went on to offer me pop saying he thought it was done and that he was going to get it done asap. A hour and a half later at 1:14PM it got done, never coming back here.

Set up an appointment for Thursday at 8am to check out my transmission. When I got in I was told that they wouldn't have anyone in until 10 to do a diagnostic and even if they did that, they wouldn't have any appointments with a real mechanic to work on it until Monday. Don't waste your time with these people. Extremely unprofessional and an inconvenience that threw off a portion of my work week. Thanks guys.

My experience with Car-X has been one of the most unbelievable, frustrating and disappointing experience I probably have ever had. I made an appointment to have 4 tires installed, and when i got to the Car-X in Eagan they told me they didn't have me in their system even though I had the confirmation email in my hand. They told me they couldn't get me in that day so I made an appointment for a week and a half later since I was leaving town. On the morning of my rescheduled appointment, I called Car-X to make sure everything was still good only to find out that the Eagan store was temporarily closed and no one thought that they should contact their customers. A representative told me that they could get me in at 2:30 in Woodbury, and I agreed. At 1pm they called me saying that they couldn't get me in anymore and told me could go to Eden Prairie at 3 if I would go to the Eagan store to pick up my tires that I had already purchased. The technician they sent to the Eagan store to unlock the door so I could get my tires was 40 minutes late. After getting my tires and then driving to the Eden Prairie location, I arrive to find that the lights are off and the doors locked. I waited another 20 minutes for someone to show up. He apologized and told me he would work on the tires right away. He took my number and told me he would call me when they were done. After 2 hours of walking aimlessly around the mall, I went back to the shop and my car had been ready for 45 minutes and no one had ever called me. At this point I just wanted to be done with Car-X. I received a note from the initial representative apologizing for the multiple errors along with a 10% off coupon for future purchase and a request for a positive google review, as if I would ever come back. Two days later, I come out into the garage to see one of my tires was flat. I removed the tire to check for punctures and there were none. I used soapy water to discover that the valve stem was leaking. I called and made an appointment to have it fixed in Eden Prairie since that's where the service occurred. When I arrived in Eden Prairie, once again the lights were off and the doors were locked in the middle of the day. After calling customer service multiple times, a foreign appointment booking agent set up an appointment in Richfield at 2:30. I decided to call Richfield and they said they were booked, the booker had no idea what she was talking about. He told me that the mechanic that was supposed to be in Eden Prairie had been pulled to the Bloomington location. Once again, no one called to tell me that the location where i had an appointment was closed. Just to be done with the situation, I went to the Bloomington location upon the direction of the Richfield manager. The mechanic from Eden prairie, Steve, was trying to run the front desk as well as being a mechanic. I was told i would get in immediately, and after 45 minutes my car was finally looked at. Upon completion, I was charged for changing out the valve stem. If I knew I was going to be charged I would have gone somewhere closer to Apple Valley where I live and to someone that doesn't screw something up at every turn. Needless to say, I wasted a vacation day from work and a Saturday, drove 112 miles total, all to be disappointed at every turn. I don't hold any of this against Steve the mechanic as he tried to be helpful, but I'm thoroughly disappointed in this business to provide high quality service and prompt communication. I have lost all trust in Car-X and would discourage anyone from giving them their business.

I own a local business in Eagan and decided to try out Car-X for a quote on some new tires since it is convenient to my office.
I met with manager, I think her name is Sunshine. I have to say I was blown away by the entire experience! She was friendly, knowledgeable, took the time to tell me the different options I had with winter coming, and the price I was quoted was less than what I was expecting. The whole experience was top notch and I will be coming back to get the tires installed that she recommended. I’ll definitely be using Car-X for all of vehicle needs, which are often because I have 4 vehicles for my business. I’ll also gladly recommend them to anyone looking for work on their vehicles!

I made an appointment over the phone. The gentleman did not take any of my information so when I arrived for my SCHEDULED appointment there was no appointment scheduled. I had to return three days later to be welcomed by a rude worker. Now, I have an extensive wait time.
