I spent $900 today and during checkout I noticed the clothing bags were too thin so after paying the bill I grabbed some from nearby cashier lady named Tina, she was so rude she ripped the bags from my hand and told me to go back to the line and ask the lady that checked me out for more bags, I told her the bags belong to the store and I need to double bag yet she still refused to hand me the bags stating “no they actually belong to me”. This is the worse costumer service I’ve ever received and even during my shopping a lady named Nikkie was rude and supposedly she is in leadership position. In my option diversity is not respected and employees are belligerently rude, hire folks with compassion and caring thatknow how to talk to customers of different cultures and background.

This place is the worst place that I have ever been, you guys have the worst the rude and mean customer service especially Nikki and Tina those are the main ones. Others are respectful. I hope they get nice customers.

This is the very worst experience so far with Carters. The store associates were so rude to let us in before the closing time. First of all, the website shows store hours as 7:00 PM. However the store closes at 6 PM and they lock the doors like 10 minutes before. Even if they see you and your kid shivering in Minnesota’s freezing temperatures, they won’t let you in. This hasn’t happened once but twice. They still give an unwelcoming look but never let you in. Never ever we will shop from this store. Bye bye Carters. I’m cancelling all the online orders that we were supposed to pick up from this horrible store.

A lot of baby clothes options and great deals on clearance clothes. Bought my two nieces several outfits (6+) for less than $80!

We visit the Carter’s outlet many times to shop for our little one. We had always a great experience while shopping there. Their quality is good enough and the prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend this place for folks looking to purchase kids’ stuff.

I received my online order, and while preparing to wash the clothes, I noticed that one cuff on a romper was unraveling. I then noticed a pair of the printed pajamas had been made with the end roll of fabric, as there was a large strip of white covering half of the length of the leg. I decided to make the trek here to exchange them. I purposely bought the jams so all four of my kids could match each other. I was met with a rude (assuming store manager as I often see her here: older lady, heavier set, dark hair) employee. I pulled out the pajama pants to show her, and her response was, "So?" So I pointed out the defect. And she said, "Yep. Return then." I said I'd like to exchange, and then pulled out the Camping romper to show the loose thread on that one as well. She rudely interrupted me, saying, "Phone number." So I gave her my number, and then continued talking about what was wrong with the jumpsuit. She just snapped back that they don't carry those there, and then just stared at me. So I asked if they had it online and could ship it. Even in a different size. She said that doesn't work that way, but she would look. She couldn't find the item. I was able to find it on my phone, but it was out of stock.Ultimately, she told me she could refund my items and that was it. I asked if I could exchange for something similar, and she was very short with me, saying I could take $2 off an item and that was it. I could not exchange it for something similar in original price before Rewards were applied. I had used Carter's Rewards ($50 worth on the order, if that says anything about how often I shop here), so I would get back $2.xx per item or just deal with the defects. This is extremely frustrating and disappointing. Both in the way this employee spoke to me, but also in the way that I'm just expected to accept defected merchandise. I'm expected to pay the same for defective merchandise that someone that didn't get defective merchandise does. That I couldn't exchange it for something similar. But mostly, this employee that was so rude, never once apologizing for the mistake, never once being kind in her responses, and just generally acting like dealing with customers is irritating. I have shopped at Carters for over a decade, buying 99% of my four kids' clothing here. This interaction has left such a bitter taste that I am questioning continuing to support this business in the future.Outside of this experience, I end up ordering the vast majority of clothes online as this store primarily focuses on infant sizes. The older kid clothes are limited and the sizes we need are often not found.
