Everyone was great! Start to finish. From making the appointment over the phone to taking payment at the end. The doctors actually took time and answered questions and explained everything thoroughly. I’ve never even been to a human doctor that goes above and beyond like these guys did!

The Team at CAH takes great care of our senior cat Camille. She is turning 22yrs this year Mar'24. She is on what they call hospice care at home. She has age related issues at 22yrs, but with the team at CAH she is getting best of care on our monthly visits for subcontaneous fluid plus a shot that helps relieve her hip pain. Camilles mobility, activity, and quality of life still appears to be good. Thank you Companion Hospital Team !

The best pet hospital I have ever visited. My Golden loved the attention and was not at all stressed during the visit nor was I. If there were more stars to give for the great experience my pet and I had I would do so. Many thanks to Dr. Kelly and all the staff who really seemed to care for everyone who came through their doors.

Be aware of companion animal Hospital! We have been long time clients at companion animal hospital. Unfortunately recently we had to but our sweet girl down due to age and arthritis (we think)…. ? She stopped putting weight down on her leg other wise in great health. My husband brought her in to find out what was going on. They ran some test 1,000 dollars later with no x-ray and no answers or suggestions on how to help her. I was disappointed as I work in health care myself and when someone comes in with a pain we x-ray them immediately. We called a few days later to have her x-rayed, again w/ no findings or suggestions on how to help her except to give pain meds. They said they would send x-ray out to a a specialist and get back to us. With no follow up after an entire week , or a call to see how pain control was going, our poor dog was worsening with each day. We finally had to make the decision to have her put down. We went in completely devastated and they treated us with as little respect as buying an air mattress. They should have handled billing for the procedure at the time of me making the appointment. Instead we had a bubbly tech come in and ask us to sign papers and pay for our sweet girl of 13.5 years. And then she asked us if we wanted a receipt!!!?? Like we were at Target! I picked my dog’s ashes up today and told the poor receptionist that they need to change their policy on how they put dogs down in the future. It felt disgusting and I let her know that. I would not recommend or will I ever go back to this business again. Not a companion of animals just a money maker with no compassion or suggestion on how to help unless it lines their pockets. And I won’t even go into how heartless the vet was. So sad! - 0 stars if I could.

We have gone to Companion Animal for over 20 years, and have raised two cats and three dogs with them! Cannot say enough good things! They are compassionate, helpful, and highly professional. We've boarded our pups there as well, and our dogs have loved the daycare.

We had taken my cat Liza, who’s very verbal and has some attitude to Dr Sheila Megan over some toxic food that Liza had ingested by accident. While the receptionists were very helpful in setting the appointment and getting things in order Dr. Sheila ended up being very rude and unprofessional in how she handled liza. Of note there was the muzzle which was extremely unwarranted given all liza had done was try to escape and get away. First time Liza swung the muzzle off and the second time the muzzle was tied way too tight and was still able to escape and get it off. The assistant didn’t seem to know what she was doing and simply threw the blanket over my cats head or would hold her by the scruff and let her escape. Blood work was also needed as we had to see if the food Liza had was affecting her and in the process, they had to prick Liza twice in one leg because of the doctors shaky hands combined with Liza’s reaction to said draw while not being held properly. This had cause liza to bleed profusely out of her leg and she ran behind me to lick her wounds. Only when Erin, another tech, had been called in to help had everything gone extremely smoothly and all she did was hold her correctly. We had to bring her back earlier today and we had asked if we could be in the room to observe like before as Liza was getting her blood drawn a second time and we did not like how this was handled the first time. The receptionist took Liza and said she would ask. She then came back and asked if Liza had been given the medication and had ingested all of it which we informed her she had and again asked if we could be present as we did not trust how the process had been handled the first time and would just like to observe and be in the room. The receptionist then said we would not be able to hold her and when we again stated we just wanted to observe she left and said she would ask. Only for Erin to bring Liza back out of the room and say that she was done. We were not happy and stated we would’ve liked to have been in the room to observe as we did not trust the vet after last time. Erin then stated that we did not have to bring Liza to the vet to which we stated that we would’ve liked to be notified that we wouldn’t be allowed in the room as Liza got her blood drawn. Very unprofessional and will not be coming back.

Dr. Griffin and the whole team have been wonderful. We have three pets including a 23 y/o cat who I am really protective of. They have all been compassionate and gentle with her. Dr. Griffin has called personally to check in about her at various times. It has been easy to get in for routine and emergent visits. I also have found their rates to be better than other vets in the area.

We have been taking our dogs to Companion for nine years. They are wonderful. They are very caring and genuine. I just had to euthanize one of my dogs and they were so sensitive, respectful, and supportive. I really appreciate how they handled everything, and helped me and my dog through the process.
