I forgot her name but it’s a really pretty name and she was amazing. Tattoo behind her ear or maybe it was on her neck. She helped me figure out a card issue without me even having to ask. Wish I could remember her name! Love this branch

I stopped by the Egan branch today and witnessed a very poorly handled interaction. I was just an objective observer with no dog in this fight. But since I do have some experience in customer service, I thought I would write this review. There was an old man who was frustrated about some aspect of his account and was becoming more and more angry by the lack of answers that he was getting. He became somewhat belligerent. He was told by the first teller “you cannot talk to us like that”- not “Please don’t talk to me like that”. Another teller jumped in and yelled publicly “you cannot talk to us like that if you continue to talk that way, we will not help you- you cannot just sit here and talk to us like dogs here”. Needless to say, it was bad customer service to a given to a frustrated customer. Even though the old gentleman was somewhat belligerent, he should not have been publicly embarrassed like that in a bank full of people by a virtue signaling teller that was taking full advantage of the situation at the old gentleman's expense.

I switched to this bank a few months ago. It's a great bank, and their features fit my preferences for a bank. The employees are always helpful and nice too. I'll be staying with these guys.

Worst bank I’ve ever been to! Their ATM is always out of order. This is frustrating when customers need to withdraw money in the evenings or weekend - there are limited hours during the week and branch is not open late to accommodate individuals who work longer shifts. They’re closed on Saturdays as well.Do better, Huntington! We’re considering taking our business elsewhere due to the ongoing challenges and lack of customer service

First, when Huntington took over TCF it was a disaster! It took months to get peoples accounts together and the wait was way too long. Now they have decided to close all the Cub branches. I think this was a very bad move.. Its not like they have close branches within every neighborhood. We have to travel 15 minutes to any other location. Even worse the Robert St branch is SLOW as heck. People at the desk see there is a line a mile long and dont even come to help. Itd a problem every time ee go there. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! And the other branch that is close to us is closed on Saturday. It would be nice to have the drive thru open for a couple hours on Saturday. I am very frustrated with them.

Nonexistent Customer Service- Tried helping a friend open a new account online, but kept receiving error messages. Then received an email to go back and finish signing up, but yet again..... it didn't work. Called customer service (very nice gal) recommended going into the branch to finish, as cash was going to be used for the opening deposit. However, there were 4 employees standing around, but no one could help with this simple task (one would think). They then told me that I could come back later in the week to get this account opened. Horrible Horrible Service. This was all over a simple Checking Account and not some Home Mortgage. No wonder my parents closed their accounts after being loyal members of TCF for DECADES.
