I have ADHD and have taken a stimulant for over 40 years. Been having trouble getting my medication filled when it comes due. For quite awhile now there’s been this issue with all of the different pharmacies and it’s ongoing. Sometimes I’ll go a week or more without a medication that I really do need because if this issue. I’ve never abused it and have had the same prescribe PCP for 25 years. I called Hy Vee ahead of time to make sure they had a current supply and intentionally had my doctor send in a refill a little early to be prepared with the ongoing supply/chain issue and Hy Vee has this moronic policy that they will only refill scheduled medications three days early d/t combat the opioid crisis. Then (of coarse) when I went to pick up the script Hy Vee had run out. What a cookie cutting policy ,”one size fits all.” The problem is these are people and needed medications not goats and tennis shoes- I’ll say,”No way to Hy Vee!!!

Best pharmacy around, I drive to this one even though it’s not super close to me as they are always consistent and the staff are trained.

We have been using Hyvee Pharmacy since it opened and appreciate their knowledge and expertise. This week I had 2 prescriptions filled, one a monthly refill and other a old prescription they had to call in to my doctor to renew. The 1st confirmed available the same day Sunday. The other one that needed my Doctor's response with a new-old prescription was available for pick up at Hyvee the following day Monday! I walked in to no line at the Pharmacy counter, I was greeted with a smile by a Pharmacy employee, and within 2 minute had my prescriptions paid. She requested I shift to a private window to gain insight from the Pharmacist on these 2 meds and potential combined effect. It was great to have the Pharmacist take time to consult with me. My Granddaughter had worked at a Pharmacy in Bloomington as an intern for 8mo. I understand the challenging roles each have in the Pharmacy and the importance of teamwork. Thank you all in the Eagan Hyvee Pharmacy Team!

If you need items filled promptly, look elsewhere. Everyone here is nice, but they are overloaded with more than staffing allows. So you can polite service, but it just takes far longer than almost any other pharmacy. If you want antibiotics quickly, look elsewhere. If you are getting a planned prescriptions, then the wait can be accounted for and its not as bad.

October 2024 the pharmacist at Hy-Vee in Eagan, set up a pickup for my boyfriends prescription through Doordash. Today, i spoke to a pharmacy tech who was not familiar with this process and refused to try and help or to get it figured out. Will be changing pharmacies asap.

Third week trying to pick up my life saving medication. Pharmacy doesn’t know how to work the medicaid website so hopefully I don’t have a third asthma attack as I continue to wait. Management is super condescending while I voice my frustration that is justified.

I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I received at the Hy-Vee pharmacy. When I tried to purchase a 10-pack of insulin syringes, the staff refused to sell them to me, citing their “store policy” despite the fact that it is state law in Minnesota to allow such sales without a prescription. The Minnesota Pharmacy Syringe Access Initiative clearly states that individuals can purchase up to 10 new syringes without a prescription from participating pharmacies. This law, effective since July 1, 1998, is intended to provide access to sterile syringes and reduce the transmission of blood-borne diseases.
Despite explaining this and the relevant statute (Section 151.40 of the Minnesota Statutes), which outlines the legal framework for these sales, I was still refused service and treated with disrespect. My partner has diabetes, and we needed the syringes urgently because our regular pharmacy was closed. The staff’s behavior was unacceptable and uninformed about the law. For anyone needing information, the Minnesota Department of Health’s website provides detailed information about this initiative.
I called and spoke to pharmacy manager Robert Jedlicka, who apologized and urged me to return for the purchase. However, due to the way I was treated, I will not be returning to that store again.

Med prices are usually the most competitive. The pharmacists are always helpful. The wait line flow smoothly. There are longer waiting during peck hours, as can be expected.

Absolutely the best pharmacy. I had been going to a CVS for years and had always been happy with them, they were always just really swamped so I switched to this pharmacy. Additionally, HyVee had better prices on the medications in general. I'm taking a medication that requires a coupon and have had numerous issues getting the coupon to go through with our insurance. Multiple pharmacists spent at least an hour messing with their system and on the phone with companies in order for it to work. I'm so grateful for them! Truly awesome!

My doctor sent a prescription over last week. Today is Tuesday and they still have not been able to fill it. Instead of asking me or letting me know, they’re having trouble they made me go Damn near a week without medication. Do not recommend this pharmacy if they Were having issues that should’ve been discussed with me right away, so I could’ve transferred it To another pharmacy sooner. I called Walgreens and they were able to fill up the same day. This is not OK.

Double check your meds before you leave! I’m pregnant and they gave me something that was COMPLETELY wrong and if I would have used it, it would have caused a lot of issues. Not okay.

Hy-Vee Pharmacy Eagan carries a rather small number of druga on their shelves. All others are filled externally and shipped to the Pharmacy the next day. The drugs on the shelf include popular antibiotics. Sometimes they run out.
If you need something today, like an antibiotic, you may not be able to utilize this pharmacy for that product. Once I had to wait until the next day for an antibiotic following dental work, I did develou an infection.
The Pharmacy does not see. to have a backup plan for those who come from the doctors office and need an RX right now.

I’ve been meaning to write this for quite some time, but the Hyvee Eagan pharmacy team is excellent. I am continually impressed. They truly go above and beyond to minimize disruptions in pharmacologic treatment.
