I don't like this Petco This is what happened to me, I was waiting for almost 15 minutes for a cashier to pay, finally the person arrived but someone on the way asked him a question and he left me waiting and went to help the other person...

Was just in there to grab a toy for my cat quick and the employee on the floor was kind and offered me help finding stuff. However when I went to the cash register the employee asked to get my phone number for rewards which I politely declined; after she tried to explain benefits and when I said no again she got upset said she’ll get a negative mark for it and threw something off her register. Not sure if she was just having a bad day or if management pressures the employees that hard but it was enough to make me never want to go back.

There was a woman who helped us in the aisle that was very helpful and knowledgeable. The score comes from my checkout experience in which I was pressured to sign up for an account/loyalty program or something. After declining twice I was actually told she gets bad marks for everyone that does not sign up.
This should not be my problem, not should an employee be graded on something completely out of their control. If that's not true, than she straight up lied to get good marks which is not something I appreciate.

Had a great experience it was pretty quick since I knew what I was going for which was cat toys. I ended up buying my kitten a dog toy from the 2 for $5 area in the front and he LOVES it. I got him the plush skunk dog toy. It’s lightweight, has a crinkly tail, and has a squeaker ball inside. He doesn’t quite know how to make it squeak but he loves to pounce on it and he kind of wrestles with it 😂 I don’t have a good action shot but here’s Paws & his skunk 🥰

Amazing service! Came in today with my son to pick up dog food. Was greeted immediately by Alexander, he was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional.

They have a good variety. My only complaint is I wish there was some organization of foods that are grain free or at least a sign identifying it. Same thing with proteins, lots and lots of proteins.

There were clumps of dead fish and carcass’ in the tanks at the store - the goldfish were eating the dead ones they had been there so long. Inhumane treatment of fish and lazy workers.

Stood there for 15-20 minutes while the staff were on the phone and busy for them to then refuse to sell me a reptile i said I was coming back for, because it was 30 mins to closing. Disappointed. I wouldn't have made the trip for no reason, maybe put a sign up so people know your new rule.

Take a look at my Dalmatian’s eye 35 minutes after leaving petco from them giving him a bath! the pics speak for themselves. Petco is lucky google isn’t allowing videos because my videos show my dog writhing with pain & discomfort

The store was clean, the associates that day were ok (not very friendly), but the prices on dog food, samples & accessories are really high!
Also, they now charge like $20 for the New Puppy Welcome booklet !!!
It used to be an affordable store but not much anymore. We will continue to shop there (for now) but we are starting to look for alternative options.
ps. There are 2 employees in Eagan store, that are very friendly, knowledgable (I need to get their names) and help me a lot and that's the reason I keep going back. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP & YOUR PATIENCE!

Very sad. Had a cage full of ferrets. The amonia smell was horrible. The piles of feces was several days old. Their lil claws were so long they needed clipped badly. Sorry, but if you can't care for your pets, discount so they can be placed in better living condition. Total abuse and neglect.

The animals at Eagan Petco always look so happy and well taken care of ❤️ The store is very clean, well stocked and the employees are always very nice and helpful!
Petco Eagan is my one stop shop for all my pets needs, the Vital Care Premier program has also saved me so much money on food and litter. Im so glad they helpped me get signed up. ?

I was actually at the store during Hamdi Abdirahmans visit, the reviewer below me. I saw her kids shaking the beta containers violently while she was looking at her phone. She was fully aware of the behavior and when a store employee confronted her she began yelling, screaming, and claiming racism. The petco staff had to threaten to call the police in order to get her out of the store after her beligerant ranting began.
All the employee was trying to do was protect the fish's life. If there's a karen in this situation, it is Hamdi Abdirahman, not the petco employees who were just protecting the animals.
Her review is biased, and she needs to be more attentative to her children's behavior while in public. She is to blame, not petco.

The manager and employee at this store yelled at and verbally harassed my 6 year old causing him to have a complete anxiety attack! All because my little one unknowingly gently shook a container with a fish in it. These sick Karens need to learn how to gently approach a child. This was our first ever visit to a pet store and they totally ruined it for him. Sick Karen’s!
