Went with the 16ft POD!!!
Update: I can confirm that the pod door will open in very cold weather. Even after a snowstorm.
Delivery went off without a hitch! I’ve been nothing but happy with the service from PODS Moving & Storage. I scheduled and rescheduled a few times due to construction delays, and each time the process was easy and everyone I dealt with was cooperative and understanding.
The POD was dropped off and placed exactly where I needed it. My driver, Becca, was exceptionally kind and knowledgeable — she even explained a few options if I decided not to keep the container on the street.
I’d highly recommend PODS to anyone needing flexible storage — whether it’s a container at home or stored at one of their facilities (something I didn’t even realize they offered until Becca mentioned it).
Right now, my basement is being packed into the POD while renovations take place, and I couldn’t be more pleased with how smooth it’s been so far.

All of the drivers that delivered my pods were great. Becca was especially awesome because she went above and beyond to try to correct an issue that a previous driver had caused. She was an absolute rockstar.

Becca delivered my 12 foot POD today and did a fantastic job! She maneuvered down the alley and landed the POD with confidence...and I was amazed! Alleys in Minneapolis are not easy for large cars, let alone delivering a POD. I got good instructions and tips as well. I was surprised when she called to say she was on her way. I wasn't expecting a woman! I asked how many there were doing the same job she does and was told 3. Job well done, Becca!

I am giving a shout out to Joel B. who is the driver of the truck who’s been dropping off and picking up our PODS containers. Joel is an excellent driver and worked with us to carefully place the containers on our driveway and provided great advice on how to pack them. He was incredibly warm and friendly!

Joel went above and BEYOND for us today in Woodbury! We had an exterior photoshoot scheduled and the POD was delivered an hour before we had hoped…Joel accommodated our requests and I am SO grateful. Excellent customer service! Highly recommend.
