We came in looking for advice on painting trim and Jaycee quickly provided us with all the available options. She was happy to answer our many questions and provide as much info as she possibly could. It made deciding on product much quicker and easier.

My profession is painter, I purchase different. materials from Many diff stores..i highly recommend this paint store BC of ppl that r working there, SUPER NICE STUFFEspecially i would like to point out Derek & Madeleine they are always super nice and very helpful ?

They charge you a fee for paint disposal when you purchase their stain. Okay, fine. I understand. No other stores I've been to (whether Sherwin-Williams or other store) charges this fee. Okay, fine. I purchase 2 gallons of stain that one of the stores called ahead to have ready for me. Great! I get the stain, go home and it isn't the right stain. The 2 closest stores to me don't have the matching Sherwin-Williams stain I need in stock. I drive 20 minutes to the store that has the matching stain. Great! I ask if I can return the stain that was the wrong item, they say, please return it to the store you bought it from. Okay, no problem, I understand. I take the 2 gallons back to the store I bought them from and ask for a refund. No problem. I say, I want a refund for the "paint disposal fee" you charged me when I bought the stain. They say no. They say there is no way to refund that fee. Nothing they can do.So I ended up returning the stain but still have to pay the "paint disposal fee". I let them know there are many ways they can make this right. They can take the money from the till and refund me, they can give me a free cheapy product, anything. Nope, not gonna do it, now way, no how, nothing they can do.This store charges an extra fee when you buy their paints or stains, and refuses to refund the fee when you return the paint or stain. Wow. Other Sherwin-Williams stores do not charge this fee. This was all within 2 hours of buying the stain and returning the stain. And their fault for getting me the wrong product in the first place.I write reviews about once every five years. Last one was to say how awesome service at Discount Tire was for me, and now for this particular Sherwin-Williams store. I suspect the fee they are charging goes directly into the pocket of somebody, and not the State of Minnesota like the employees claimed. They said it was State mandated, if so, why don't other stores (even Sherwin-Williams) charge the same fee?!Not shopping here again.

Anne, the Assistant Manager, is a dream to work with. She always remembers me by name when I stop in, she knows my go-to paint color and is the best at helping make decisions. I am paralyzed by all those paint chips-too many choices! Anne is patient and knows her product. It's clear that newer staff members have been trained well by her as well. I don't even like going to other locations, I prefer dealing with Anne and refer all my clients to her. The paint is the best, too!
