Only one worker has been trained to close a IRA Money Market account. Instead of spending members funds on partnerships with the Wild, and Univ of MN they should be training their employees on simple tasks.

I used to love my credit union Spire and never had any issues. Since the switch to Blaze I have experienced multiple issues with zero support from the bank. Wait times to talk to an agent can be over an hour - even on the chat function! Transfer multiple times and no ownership with seeking solutions. As the customer I was told to follow up. Extra fees for ATM and minimum balances that didn't use to have. Transferred multiple times and the bill pay system is outsourced and separate from bank so all the issues with payments not showing up on time, going to the wrong place, or being paid twice (yes, all of those have happened to me) the bank won't work with you, you have to call and sort it out with third party bill bay. I miss Spire!

Amazing how quickly Hiway destroyed a once great credit union. Decades of hard work thrown away in months. Their online banking almost never works.
Want to check your recent transactions? NOPE! It's down yet again.
Want to report a card lost/stolen? They make it as if you never had a card at all. No transaction history, no ability to pay off the balance. No new card mailed.
Want help? Be prepared to wait for hours.

I worked with Gabby and she helped me with my overdraft transactions. She was extremely helpful and attentive to my concerns following the transition from Spire to Blaze due to some previous issues

Since it has become Blaze CU, the quality of service has gone from 5 stars to barely 1 star. The wait times for customer service are ridiculously long. Usually, they can not help, so you have to call someone else and start waiting again. There's nothing like a game of 'pass the buck' to aggrevate a customer.
We are looking for somewhere else after many years as loyal customers. I strongly recommend avoiding this place until they get their act together.
To Blaze CU - try spending less on advertising and more on doing your job!

Since Spire Merged with Blaze, service has gone to shit. I've been on hold for at least 22-25 mins, 4 different times to ask a simple question. Ridiculous.

I had a great experience filing for my auto loan with Manuel, he was very knowledgeable, personable and kept me comfortable throughout the process. As a prior spire user the Wait/filing times took a little longer than usual but he assured me a lot of it had to do with new systems in place by blaze from the business transfer. As with any new system there are growing pains before the process can become fluid and I’m confident that things will only get better as time goes on

They switched to Blaze and every other transaction on my credit card is flagged as suspected fraud. This is even with a limit over $5,000. This is embarassing and ridiculous.

I would not leave any stars because this location is horrible. There has not been once where I come here and my total trip is less 20 minutes. I always have to wait 10+ minutes to be seen then another couple minutes for someone to help me. It’s very unpleasant for one simple trip to always take 20+ total minutes. I come to this bank bc it’s right by where I work but this is my last time here. Today the teller lied and said they have lines out the door but by the drive through you can see inside and there was only one guy waiting in line. He said I was next in que however, a guy pulled up after me, was helped and left before me. That’s some bullshit. I got to the bank at 11:26am and left at 11:49am. My transaction consists of depositing cash into my account and I waited this long for one simple task. If I could deposit the cash myself I would. This is unacceptable!

I phoned into my Spire Credit Union branch in Eagan concerned that they have a 5 day hold on my IRS Tax Refund, Matt promptly told me he'd be happy to Close My Account for me!! I am shocked speechless by such degrading treatment... Matt claimed to be Branch Manager at a financial institution, his attitude & rudeness is beyond shocking!

I worked with Jonah, who was actually a teller in training, just yesterday and he was super patient and helpful! He even called me back the next day to ensure what he said was going to happen went through, even when he didn’t have to. Above and beyond! Thanks man!

Crooks. Do not trust your Available balance" on the app. Apparently they will show you have a few hindered, but keep everything pending, even though the balance reflects those purchases you've made. Before you know it you've paid hindered in "Courtesy pay". 10 years and it's a shit show of a bank. Do not use them. They'll give you the run around. I'll be closing this account in a few days. Kick rocks. The app is misleading as it gets.
