To make an extremely long story short, when I moved to Rochester, MN, I needed a bank. Since I was working at Big Blue, it made sense to open an account with IBM Credit Union. So, I did. Over the years, IBM Credit Union changed names. It is now Think Bank. I still have my bank accounts with Think Bank. The transition was seamless. My home branch is still in Rochester. Last month, when I was in town, I needed to withdraw some money from my account. I was staying in Eagan, so it made sense to visit this branch. It's next door to the CVS where I used to do my rapid COVID-19 tests at the drive-thru before I flew home when it was mandatory that you were COVID-free. I didn't go inside the branch. I simply needed an ATM, so I hit the drive-thru. With all Think Bank branches, the first few lanes from the left are with for folks who require a teller to help with their transactions. If you need the ATM, it's typically in the far right lane. It was the case here. I pulled up to the machine, inserted my bank card, and proceeded to use the ATM to withdraw money. It was straightforward and easy. The downside was that if you wanted to make a cash deposit, you couldn't. There weren't any envelopes unless you had a spare one in your car. This ATM wasn't as advanced as some here in Canada where it takes cash as a deposit without an envelope. It wasn't all that busy at the branch. I was the only one at the drive-thru. There weren't a ton of cars parked in front of the branch. It was nice visiting this branch. I had a good ATM experience. I have visited most branches in the Twin Cities. The one in Apple Valley still needs a visit. I may have a new goal now to visit all locations. There are a few in Rochester that I've never visited, either. (360)

I would avoid working with Think Bank. There are plenty of small to mid-size banks out there with better customer service. I have not had a great experience with them in regards to mortgage and auto loans. Initially worked with a really great rep at the St. Paul branch, but it has been all down hill from there.

I love Think. I have been banking here since 1998 and have never banked anywhere else. Their interest rates, efficiency of procedures are so easy and quick and I everyone I have worked with has been so helpful. Belinda in Apple Valley just called me out of the blue to move some of my loans around for better interest rates and to save me money monthly. You don't get that kind of customer service anymore. I was floored. When I met my now husband, he moved all of his banking to Think and everything we do is through Think. Best Bank!

I have been with this bank since I was 15. It used to be a credit union and the service was spectacular. Since it became a bank I have never been happy with the service. Often when I call they are snippy and act like I’m not bright enough to deal with. I have called three times now requesting a new debit card because mine expires this month. I was told it would come when it comes. Meanwhile I have bills to pay and my city utility won’t accept my card this month. I was promised it would be here the beginning of the month. It’s mid month now and still no card. They said I could pay an extra $35 to get a card in two days. Why should I pay extra to gain access to my money? I owe them nothing. No loans through them because I’ve always gotten better deals elsewhere. I told them I will be closing my accounts on Saturday and the woman on the phone said ok have a nice day. I have a higher balance account and so does my daughter. They will lose three accounts tomorrow.

If you bank at WellsFargo people, you're part of the problem. Same for BOA, TCF, USBank etc. Years ago (Citizens United), I abandoned all corporate spending and banking. The smaller local banks and credit unions are the ethical choice! Pick one, they are all around you and very friendly. Be a part of the solution, exit all corporate bank products today!

I have been banking here since I first got a job at 15. Almost ten years later I am really happy with Think. They have great banking options, and great customer service on the phone and in person. The employees at this location are very kind and helpful as well!

My husband and I normally get treated well when we do business at this bank but today was questionable. Before we where serviced my husband and I were asked to take off our mask and look to there camera. I did not have a problem with that until I realized that they were not doing it to everyone that came in.

Overall I have been happy here but please train your employees to greet their customers and ask what kind of help they need.

Ended up getting over $60 in overdraft fees because of a fraudulent charge on my card. I asked if they could reverse the fees and they said they wouldn't because it wasn't a bank error. I closed my account! Stay away!!!

Finally. I found something that is better than the soulless, cold banks that keep buying the banks I have accounts with. Super nice, accommodating and genuine.
