Tried to give this company a try. The technician (Marco McDonough) woke me up while sleeping on my epilepsy pills. I told him he couldn't take me to fast while still writing everything down. He was very pushy trying to get me to buy more cameras and equipment. I told him the guy on the phone looked at my house and told me what all I need. He then went outside on the pourch and started talking about me. He later came in saying we gotta reschedule. I can't help I have a disability and I wasn't about to let you sell me things I didn't need. I'm just very hurt how I was treated because I didn't buy more products from this guy. I was sleeping but not dumb. I decided not to go with this company because if something goes wrong will the next technician be like him that comes to fix the problem at my house. What a waste of my time Vivint. If the technician like Mr. Marco Mcdonough knows your paying the whole system off they get greedy and try to throw more products on you.Although the lady in the loyalty department named Cess was very nice. She made me feel better yet I am still in tears.

The worst customer service ever in my entire existence. Don’t even bother calling them. You will be on the phone for 2-3 hours not even a single person able to help you out. They will transfer you to another person all day. If you’re trying to cancel good luck.Every time they will ask you what was the call for. They are scammers. I was told two years contract, but told them is 5 years. They made me pay $635.69 for the remaining two years. I paid them so, I don’t have to deal with them anymore. I will take them to the court.

Don’t use Vivint. Colton snow had promised me 800$ off and a free doorbell camera and I never got the doorbell camera. They made me pay for it. I will be canceling during my trial period. 30 days to decide and it took me about a day to figure out Vivint is garbage.

I would never recommend this security system!!! It was supposed to be a month to month contract when I tried canceling they told me I had to pay $2000 in order to cancel my account. The person name ZACH JONES who came to my house told me one price and when I got my bill it was totally a whole different price. For this price you might as well buy ur self ur own cameras and put it ur self would be way cheaper !! Don't even bother with this company!

I am a new 2 month customer, I wish I would have never signed up.Doorbell camera has not worked correctly since purchased. Will not let me review clips, has error messages. They state it's an Android problem on the app. You should never have suggested it then if it wouldn't work.Backyard camera does nothing at night, no notifications when I walk out there, have to wave my arms for it to go off. But during the day it goes off all day long. I made a mistake, hate this product!!!!!!!

Vivint is the worst company I've ever delt with. If you're thinking about getting a security system DONT DO VIVINT. It's borderline a scam. I was told a 2 yr contract but ended up a 5 yr contract. I was told I have to pay 400$ dollars to get out of my contract and pay 275$ for equipment. Terrible service and equipment hardly ever worked.

Borderline scam of a company. My cameras had an absolutely pathetic 3 day recording range, system was constantly disconnecting, slow and buggy app, and they want $1300 to close my account on top of the $2500 I paid to own the equipment. Bought a $300 night owl setup with better cameras, no subscription, and records for almost 2 years. Wouldn't even recommend to an enemy.

AVOID and Beware of this company. The door to door salespeople are worst and they did show up multiple times and waiting for long time at front doors and knocking several times and and one time even they even showed up after 8pm. If you respectfully say NO to their services they don’t listen at all and the sale person even tried to come into home without permission. Will never do business with them for their unprofessional and creepy behavior.

Live in St. Paul. Had a VERY creepy guy come to our door. Wasn’t sure if he was on drugs or just very strange and creepy. He kept trying to push to get into our home and seemed very out of it. We have another security system installed and told him that immediately but he wouldn’t leave for another few minutes. Very predatory

Had a super creepy door to door salesman knocking on our door for over 5 minutes and wouldn't leave even though our whole neighborhood has no soliciting signs. Then, he starts walking around my house so I finally open the door and talks so fast that you can't get a word in so they can weasel their way inside. I politely refused multiple times and got to the point where it felt like he was subtly making threats. One of the most disturbing cold knocks I've ever had. Don't let these people in your home.

This business and their canvassers are harassing. They showed up at 9 at night to canvass and when we said no they kept returning and knocking and stood on our doorstep for 5 minutes. Mihir and his manager are harassing and it’s honestly concerning and scary.

Predatory door to door salesman! My whole house is currently covered in cameras and after asking the gentleman to leave he kept pestering me about their service, finally said listen I’m not interested thank you for your time and he still proceeded to ask me if I was interested, no legit company would need pushy door to door salesman like this! Very unprofessional would stay FAR AWAY!

Ive had a Vivint system for 10 yrs. I was forced into upgrading to over a thousand dollars of equipment to keep my system monitored. When I told them I couldn’t afford that they offered me a five year contract. Their equipment will be obsolete and you’ll need an expensive upgrade before any contract of that length expires. All their monitoring is offshore. If you have an emergency or need help it takes a hour and a half of being transferred to 6 different people before they let you speak with anyone that speaks English. This company doesn’t care and their monitoring isn’t great. I’ve had vandalism at my home with this system. Police tell me I need camera footage to help. Cameras which you really need for any safety will cost you a lot in monthly monitoring charges. They know this and increase the monthly rate significantly to give you coverage you need. Really expensive, always trying to upgrade you to increase cost, poor response and everyone is offshore. ?♀️
