“I'd like to give LaMettry's 5 stars for effort alone, but I can't. Having my car in for a repair after an accident in which the other driver drove into the side of my car, LaMettry's took exactly 6 months to the day to get my car repaired. My car is German, and shipping delays accounted for a month's wait time. It took another month to complete the repairs and repaint the side of the car. So why 6 months and not 2 months? LaMettry's kept getting things wrong. Repeatedly. To their credit they always wanted to make it right. The car needed to be repainted three times. Panels or doors kept not being aligned properly. A lot of details kept being missed, or they'd fix one and then create another, or forget about one more thing. I believe I had the car back in to their shop at least six more times over those additional 4 months, and it was only completed on the 6 month anniversary of when I originally dropped the car off because I contacted the general manager and told him it was the 6 month anniversary since I'd dropped the car off. He had me bring the car in that day for the last item to fix, something I'd been waiting on for a month, despite his weekly updates on why it couldn't be done during that month.

LaMettry's was my only real choice for where to get my car repaired, since they're the only shop in town certified to work on my brand of car, and since the repair was serious, involving body/frame damage, and the car was relatively new (under 10K miles), I wanted the repairs to be as close as possible to how it was out of the factory, which is what those certifications are for.

So I'll rank LaMettry's like this (out of 5 stars):
