Horrible horrible company, making work for their own subsidiary’s and charging homeowners for damage that is not there. What horrible people you have to be to take advantage of people that already pay their salaries with stupid HOA fees, ABOLISH ALL HOAS they are not needed!!!!

Gassen provides our board the tools we need to serve our homeowners. Our manager Chris is doing a good job staying on top of homeowner questions and requests.

HOA management is tough sometimes, but Gassen helps volunteer boards so much in making it happen. Today’s Town Hall is a great example. Efficiency and effective education on timely topics to help board members have the right tools to succeed. Special that you to Alley, our property manager. You are exceptional and we are so lucky to work with you.

Our homeowners association uses Gassen Company as our condominium's property management partner. We needed to replace the floor materials on our small exterior decks. Gassen said they obtained bids from two competitors and from their own construction company Gassen Construction & Maintenance (GCM). This should have been a red flag for us, but they assured us they had more at stake in the project than would any other firm. Our association selected GCM. I dearly wish we had not. Our small condo decks were originally bid at $3100 to $3400 for simple decking/sleeper replacement which seemed very pricey. After opening up select decks, GCM said the rubber membranes beneath also needed replacement. At this point, GCM's price for the project increased 425% (to well over $14,000 per deck). We asked to see the competitive bids for the additional membrane work but were told we could not because GCM (Gassen Construction & Maintenance) had obtained them and not Gassen. The contract had been signed. The project encountered many many delays. But when, after losing a summer+ use of the decks, it was finally completed, we were given three weeks to pay our HOA (so it will be our HOA that has the burden of collecting rather than the construction company despite assurances that our decks would be handled individually). So much more but I believe these are the essentials I would want to know before considering Gassen as an HOA property manager or GCM for a construction project.
Our master HOA and HOA had previously terminated the maintenance portion of our contract with Gassen due to poor service.
Recommendation: Steer Clear of Gassen for a more peaceful and economical HOA

Avoid at all costs
They are padding their pockets and not doing a good job with upkeep of their properties
Not to worry, they will drive around once a week and try to assess charges to the residents for things like not having a garage light on. I even caught them putting a rock on my Lexus rim to see if my car moved enough.
FIX THE HOLES IN THE EXTERIOR OF THE CONDOS!
Zero stars - Check them out with the BBB too, BAD, adoid!!

Gassen management is a money hungry company. They run communities like it’s a prison, they have nothing better to do but walk around looking for expired parking tabs instead of findings ways to improve the community. I requested to speak with someone from management and have continued to be ignored. When i first moved in, I tried contacting management and received zero reply. Avoid any gassen managed community if you can.

This company is HORRIBLE and HORRENDOUS they discriminate against vets and handicapped individuals. They are profit over people. DO NOT GO WITH THEM! BEWARE!!!! I am handicapped and my husband is a Navy vet and I require a cold room because of the meds I am on so I require a window AC unit and these people are coming after me for violating because I am ill and have a broken body and they just don't like the look of a window unit. It is a shame after serving 14 years to be treated this way. It's disgusting a company acts this way towards the disabled vets. I will only remove this post and quit posting and telling everyone if they remedy this gross discrimination.

Our association has used Gassen Property Management for over 5 years. Our manager Kenny Guzek is professional, positive and knowledgeable. He communicates and visits our property regularly. He finds affordable and skilled vendors for our projects. He is readily available when needed and makes us feel valued. Gassen has great training opportunities. They are knowledgeable on HOA management practices, MN law and governing documents. The management teams and accounting staff are helpful and knowledgeable. We appreciate the reports and information available to the Board. I would highly recommend Gassen Property Management.
