I met with Dr. Jamison to update her on my experience with Ocular Migraine and subsequent MRI testing, and to ask about the film beginning to form on my 2-yr old cataract lenes . She was able to confirm overall eye health, no change to prescription, and advise me on the timing of additional steps for lens film.
Her memory of my case details and my spouses as well as personal information was impressive. She is an experienced professional, very personable, and comes highly recommended to anyone looking for optical care in the Eden Prairie area. PJH

Super friendly staff. Felt well informed about what the doctor was seeing on my exam and had expert assistance picking out my new glasses. Definitely worth the drive from Mpls to EP .

I had to switch Clinics due to my vision insurance, so I was less then thrilled to be having to go somewhere new. BUT.....Jamison Optical knocked it out of the park! Making an appt was super easy. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. Dr. Jamison heard my concerns and addressed each one....and even taught me that it's normal at my age to need my phone screen bright (even though my kids have always thought it to be weird!) The most impressive thing, however, was the insight that the staff had into what frames would work best for me. I had been looking at frames for about 5 minutes on my own and was trying on various pairs and nothing was really thrilling me. One of the staff came up and asked me a few questions and proceeded to pick a couple options off the rack. And wouldn't you know, 1 of those was exactly the right one for me! In fact, it was perfect!!! She told me that they love the fashion part of helping someone choose a pair of glasses! I had never heard someone refer to it that way before and I've worn glasses for 45+ years! Suffice it to say, I had a great experience and I'll tell everyone I know! So if you're on the fence about whether or not to go to Jamison Optical.....just go! You will not be disappointed! And I'm guessing you'll end up being as impressed as I was!

Jamison Optical provides a positive eye care experience! I received a detailed eye exam, purchased a pair of prescription sunglasses, and had other frames re-lensed to update their prescriptions. It’s always fun to be fitted for my new glasses when they come in and I’m enjoying my updated eyewear!

I really enjoyed my visit here! Both the staff and Dr. Jamison were super friendly, and she was very personable as well. The appointment itself was quick and thorough which I really liked. I was able to get brand new contacts that were adjusted for my eye shape which made the experience that much more personable. Highly recommend!

I've been going here for years and travel from St. Paul to come here. Staff is always super friendly and personable. Dr. Jamison is super knowledgeable and I always have a great experience at my yearly check up. The staff is great at assisting me with picking frames and what will match my face shape. Jensen assisted me on the most recent visit and she was super helpful on finding frames that would match my style. They have good frame options for low bridge and round faces.
