working on switching banks. I asked them to freeze my debit card momentarily. the told me they wouldn't let me unfreeze it momentarily to make a mandatory online purchase in order to take a midterm text for my graduate program. Finally they allowed me to do that. then afterwards they said they were going to refreeze my card. And without my consent they actually cancelled my card completely so when I found my card that I had lost I was unable to unfreeze it at all and had to order a new one? now I have to wait 10-14 days for a new card to come and I have now way of paying for anything unless I go and buy check from one of their branches. I have to pay for parking at school everyday and they definitely do not accept checks along with many other places? Now I am in a financial crisis for the next week or so? Not to mention rude condescending customer service at the Eden Prairie branch. Just wild. It's not that hard to inform your clients about what you're doing with their money and account. Open communication is everything and obviously something that this bank struggles with or doesn't value nearly enough.

Worst Bank Ever.Never come here. I have had countless problems with this terrible bank. They even charge you to change your PIN. My card will get declined out of nowhere and their website is impossible to manage. DO NOT USE THIS BANK.

Star Bank is a fantastic place to work! Friendly people who care about their customers and community! They truly are "the bank that cares"! The Eden Prairie location also offer a community room open to non-profits free of charge! I feel very fortunate to work for and bank with such a great company!!!

This is the sort of bank where the tellers know regular customers by name. They aren't just reading your name off the deposit slip and acting like they know you. A+ customer service.

Gathered in lobby to visit Erik Paulsen's office with about 50 people. Star Bank (also a tenant in the building) female employee came out of the bank door and said, "There is no video taping or cameras allowed! Turn off the video cameras!" Puhlease. I know I won't be banking here.

Rude personnel fingerprinted me and charged 5% for me to cash a check of a patron of this terrible bank. Cashing a check through another bank doesn't require fingerprints, and usually bringing a check to the bank that issued the check doesn't cost 5% for the privilege of getting the money that was owed to you. Don't bank at this lousy site.
