Doug and his crew of five total guys were amazing. They packed and moved us across the neighborhood in 2 days into a five bedroom house. They were incredibly helpful, fun, kind, safe, and took excellent care of everything. Our move was half as long as we anticipated because they worked extra hard and changed the strategy to make it happen more efficiently for us on day one when they realized we had 3 young kids and wanted to get it done as quickly as possible. Can't say enough good things about this crew and the move. This is our third move with Suddath. We moved from Philadelphia to Minneapolis, across our neighborhood, and then across neighborhood again. Three moves in 10 years. All excellent. I will have them move our family next time too. Look no further. Thanks for everything!

Multiple moves crisscrossing the country in the past 15 years. Each was made more complex by requiring multiple van’s and heavy shop equipment mixed with household goods. Our Relocation Consultant, Joaquin Guzman, was professional, patient, resolved potential problems, and able to use his field experience in suggesting affordable ways to pull off a challenging move. We were extremely happy with the outcome, promises kept and followup. We are very happy to recommend Joaquin and his colleagues at Suddath to folks looking for their services.

Good experience with estimator and loading, but many issues thereafter. Our belonging were delivered 19 days past the guaranteed delivery date (over a month from being picked up), and communication was poor during this period. We had to reach out to see if our shipment was coming and multiple times calls and emails were not returned. Our belongings were stored for a month in a Minnesota facility while waiting for Suddath to find a moving truck. During this period, multiple items were stored improperly and became significantly damaged or ruined. We accrued enormous unanticipated moving costs due to this delay and the company was unwilling to discuss compensation for this despite multiple emails and phone calls.Overall, an expensive and very disappointing experience. I would caution others to not use Suddath for their move.

Have moved several times in the military. Suddath is hands down the worst moving company we've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Packing quality was horrible which led to massive damage. That led to a claim that is taking (STILL NOT DONE) 15+ months and counting to get resolved. The delays are due to claim examiners simply not doing their job (Jane Graybill) where a price is agreed upon but will take months (not an exaggeration) of phone calls/emails/follow up before someone finally updates the items in DPS. Cannot stress enough how horrible this experience has been and continues to be.

HORRIBLE military move experience!!! They ran out of boxes so they just threw our stuff in sizes they could find... I could not watch them at all times because I had a nursing 5 month old and one packer was downstairs in the kitchen and the other did the rest of the house himself. I was impressed at the quickness of his work now I know why it was so quick- he did horribly!!! A few examples: shoes crammed on top of nice expensive hats. Wrapping paper rolls bent in half to fit in a box instead of getting more boxes... glassware randomly shoved in between blankets and sheets not wrapped properly. Legs of our entry table not even wrapped just put in some paper and stacked on top. Baby crib mattress ruined because it wasn’t wrapped well so got soaked. Broken tv. Boxes labeled randomly so we had a hard time even knowing what was in them. I have a ton of pictures of this complete disaster. I could go on and on... Everything was either scratched damaged or ended up stored soaked. Ruined. Of course we don’t get fully compensated back for items so it’s a LOSS. I tell all my military friends if you get assigned this company - ASK FOR SOMEONE ELSE.

This was a great move, and great experience for my first professional move. I owe a big thanks to Carrie Hodgson, my coordinator, for the excellent work she did. She was always keeping me informed and making sure everything went smoothly. She was friendly, always answered my questions, and went above and beyond for my move. The movers were friendly and timely, and everything went very smooth.

Movers were good, but the salesman Randy terribly underestimated the size of truck so I was forced to have a friend with a trailer, go back and forth to help and several items were still left in the old house. If you want to be sure all of your items get moved, look at a different company.

We decided to go with Suddath after reading all of the positive reviews and after talking to Craig about some of the older items we had and he assured us that they would take good care of our furnishings and fragile items. They were a bit more expensive than other moving companies, but we wanted to pay extra for the special care.Three workers came in and did a good, efficient job of wrapping and carrying out the larger items and carefully packing the fragile items into the truck. All of the large furniture items were carried out by 2 workers. The bad part was when they delivered our possessions. Instead of 3 workers, only 2 came out to unload everything. They were very polite and seemed easy to work with. My wife was home and I was at work. When they took my work bench off the truck, one leg was busted off. Our 3 legged chiminea also had a welded leg broke off. Both workers said they didn’t do the damage, it was done by someone else. Two of our bookcases had pieces splintered off. Two ceramic plates were broken. A crockpot was broken into pieces. All of these items were packed in foam (top and bottom) and individually wrapped in layers of bubble wrap. When I texted Craig a picture of the broken crockpot, I got no response. The only feedback we got from them was to contact their insurance company. On top of that, my wife had a special screwdriver (a Philips head with a black plastic slide on the shaft) that one of the workers took with them. Granted, this may have been an innocent mistake since they shared the counter as where my wife’s tools were. She called Craig about it and he said that since it was unique it wouldn’t be hard to find and he would take care of it and get it returned or call us back. Well, it’s been over a month and still no word or screwdriver.***Update***Well, to make a long story short, we contacted Dave and he was true to his word. He was sincerely apologetic about what had happened and he promised he would take care of us, which he did (my wife even got her screwdriver back, which was an innocent mistake). I understand things happen, even with the best intentions, but it's the companies who stand behind their customer service if something goes wrong that makes all the difference. They could have said, "oh well", but they didn't. You just don't see that happen all that often, which is why I updated my review of them.

The professionalism of the Suddath team on both ends of our move was outstanding. Derek Anderson's team was incredibly efficient and the quality of their work was beyond the pale. They showed up on time, worked hard, and got the job done with no issues that I can find. Dianna Sheikh did a fantastic job of coordinating and following up to ensure all was going well. We had a very narrow departure and delivery time - and Dianna was able to coordinate things perfectly.
