“The Thinking Spot is a welcoming haven for book lovers, especially those with a passion for STEM. The thoughtfully curated collection offers a wealth of resources for both students and adults. The books are well-organized by category, making browsing a breeze. Whether you're seeking to expand your knowledge or explore new topics, their selection is sure to ignite your curiosity. Plus, they host a variety of engaging events and meetups, (schedule published in their website). I’m looking forward to my next visit!”
“I went to Kiddywampus in Hopkins for the first time the other day! What an amazing toy store! They literally have a little bit of everything including, Barbie, Legos, and Playmobile. I saw art kites, puppets, science kits, books, dress up clothes, stuffed animals and games just to name a few. They had toys for all ages from 0 to 100! They offer gift wrapping and there is even a space for parties or events! It will take a few visits to see everything! Since I have a bunch of kids in my life I will definitely be visiting again and again!”
“We absolutely love Kiddywampus and are fortunate enough for it to be our neighborhood toy store! The staff are so knowledgeable so it’s a great place to go for gifts (plus, they wrap it for free!), a wonderful selection of toys and games, many of which are educational, and some fun events as well! Support this business over online retailers when you can, you won’t be sorry!”
“This place reminds me of what toy stores should look like but usually don't anymore. The shelves are packed but well thought out. Similar things are grouped in the same areas, which is particularly helpful in the board game area. There's a huge variety, from Lego to puzzles to pretend playsets, tactile / fidget toys, things that fly, things that roll, suckers and sweets and so much more.A staff member asked us if we need help - turns out she was the owner, was extremely knowledgeable and gave great recommendations while making us feel welcome as out-of-towners. Next time we visit family we'll be sure to return.”
“Quite the snazzy store for big middle aged kiddos to play in. Also, if you need or want to find a unique gift that you can't find in a Target or Walmart store, tis the place to go.
Fun noise makers, kaleidescopic toys, cars, magnetic monsters and more. Plus art supplies like scissors, clay, paper, wiggly squiggly pens, and more.”
“First time to celebrate their relocation. Perfect spot to be nestled in Union Depot.Lots of train tables, accessories and trains. Their birthday party room is cute with a side room for a small bounce house, block room and gift shop”
“This was my first trip to a Games by James store the puzzle selection was wonderful. The staff was amazing a big shout out to Steven for holding the puzzle for me and to William plus Anthony helping me get home via Google maps.
Great service overall I will be back.”
“Store manager Jessica is awesome. She had a lot of patience with my questions and helped me a ton with a discount she provided in the store. Definitely coming back when we’re in town!!”
“They got a nice Manga and anime related good section, not sure if it's in the middle of building or they were cleaning out though. But if they expand on it I think I could see myself coming back.”
“So much fun! Clean and very diverse stations, something for every child from dentist station to baking muffins, to camping in the woods to being a firefighter, this place offers a lot for children and their adult.”

“I absolutely love this location for both purchasing and selling items. For starters the staff are amazing when it comes to helping find what is needed and welcoming you into the store. I almost did not go due to the reviews but given my past experience in a similar industry I know that when people don't get their way they try to sabotage places. I am happy I chose to go into this location. It has a wide selection of clothing and even when the staff are extremely busy they still welcome customers and help them find things when needed. While I was there someone became rude to a staff member and despite this customers attitude the staff remained professional. I will be continuing to shop at this location it is clean and a positive environment. The staff all seem to get along and work together.
When selling to the location the staff are quick and accurate with timing. I brought in multiple bins and they purchased a lot of the items and explained to me why they passed on the rest. They answered all of my questions that I asked and were very transparent about the way that they priced the items.
Don't let the negative reviews of Karen's push you away from this Once Upon a Child. This was the best experience I had at any of the locations I have been to. I almost did and I am happy that I didn't and chose to give this place a try.

“As an Executive Assistant to a couple of busy business people with kids, I am often tasked with finding the best gifts that the Twin Cities has to offer for little girls and boys ranging in age from 5 to 15 years old. Having no kids of my own, I am often lost for inspiration. Creative Kidstuff to the rescue! I am able to swing by and have the well-educated and friendly staff help me pick out a gift, or even call ahead to place an order. Everyone working there is obviously passionate about kids and the toys that they love to play with - I've never been steered wrong! My favorite orders are the ones that I call ahead and send our driver to pick up. The staff always has a great time putting together options for me, based on age, gender, and preferences of the child(ren) in question. Don't forget to budget time for them to wrap the gifts in their signature wrapping paper! They always do a great job, and it is so much fun to see the requester's eyes light up as you hand over a beautifully packaged toy or craft for their kids to take to a birthday party. Thanks for everything, CK, and I'll be back!”
