Unwittingly signed up for a telehealth appointment in the EP Center office. I was there for almost 2.5 hours.. absolutely terrible service. Don't come to this visionworks location if you value your time and seeing a physical doctor.

Avoid this place. I would give zero star if possible. The lady at the front desk refused to show me an itemized bill until I pay. I got charged for something that I did not expect and they refused to explain in detail what the charge was about. The equipments they use to exam your eyes are not so clean and smells unpleasant.

I won’t do business with this company again. The lenses will get micro scratches and scuffs within weeks of getting them even if you purchase ones that are supposed to be resistant to it. Their 100 day guarantee also doesn’t work if you only have one pair of glasses, kind of hard to see when you don’t have a spare set.

Just got a new insurance company and needed new lenses/glasses. Went here and asked for a little guidance with VSP and potentially getting my Warby Parker glasses new lenses for my new prescription. The woman behind the counter proceeded to laugh at me and the fact that I had warby parker. She berated my choice in glasses and was incredibly rude. After I went to look around at potentially having to get new frames she proceeded to talk, very loudly, to the other employee there doubling down on how crappy Warby Parker is as a choice for glasses and how anyone that wears them is “putting cheap crap on their face.” Safe to say, never would feel comfortable walking into this location ever again.

I would give zero stars if I could. Terrible customer service at front desk. They had no idea what was going on at check in/check out, and treat people like they are an inconvenience for even coming in. The "exam room" is an open area where anyone can see the exam taking place. With that being said, I witnessed to exam tools NOT being cleaned between patients. Also, people who do the exams are not washing hands between people. This place is so unprofessional in every sense of the word. Avoid going here!

The customer service has gone down terribly in the last few years that I’ve been coming here. My husband came here to get his first pair of glasses and was given progressive bifocals instead of the readers that he was looking for. After several weeks, the glasses will be remade, but now they are on back order and they don’t know if or when we will get them. Nobody has an answer for us. We never received a phone call about any of this, I have had to continuously call to try to get updates. Once this gets settled, I will definitely be switching to a different optometry office.

Very bad customer service. I had appointment on 12/21 at 11 AM.i have to wait till 12:40 AM and finally I was told the device for Retina scan is not working and need to reschedule the appointment for 12/26. Today when I arrived at 10:223 AM for 10:20 AM, they cancelled my appointment. The behavior of the lady sitting at the front desk is very rude. I won’t recommend anyone to visit the Visionworks at EDEN PRAIRIE CENTER.

Doctor and team at the Eden Prairie Vision works were all so helpful and attentive. Not to mention an in house Doctor which is so important. I will be back!

I would give no stars if possible! I had scheduled 2 appointments for both of my children I arrived late to my first appointment that was at 10:30 (10:45arrival time) due to road closures and was told I was to late for that appointment which I completely understood. I said it was fine but I was still going to have my other child seen & once my insurance was ran there was an issue so I called my insurance which didn’t take more than 4 minutes and told the front desk the issue was fixed to please re run the insurance so my son could be seen & was told that my son was already late to his 11:00am appointment. IT WAS 10:57 !!!!!! And even then I got there at 10:45!!!!!! The front desk lady named Heather told me I could wait but still might not be seen! I ALREADY HAD AN APPOINTMENT! What do you mean ?! And then she told me she could re schedule me for Tuesday. Heck no!! I had an appointment!!!! Horrible horrible service !

I wish I had read the reviews ahead of time. Due to road closures, I arrived close to my appointment time. The GPS directs you to the food court, leaving you to find the clinic inside the mall. There are at least three other vision clinics there. A mall employee gave me general directions, but I had to call Visionworks for specifics. No one answered, so I wandered until a security guard helped me find the right location, which wasn’t even near the food court. This took about 13 minutes, and by the time I arrived, I was late. Despite the clinic not being busy, they still didn’t answer the phone, and I had to wait 10 minutes only to be told I’d need to reschedule. I said, "I'll make an appointment somewhere else."
The biggest frustration is that no one answered the phone while I was looking for the clinic. If they had been busy, I would understand, but there was only one person there when I arrived.
Based on other reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue where they reschedule even if you’re a minute late. I won’t be giving them another chance, and I wouldn’t recommend this location to new patients.

They no longer have an in house optometrist so your vision exam is a zoom call with a doctor from god-knows-where. While you sit there waiting for the doc to connect you get to watch ads about how great it is to not see a doctor in person.

This Eden Prairie location from admitting staff to optometrist Dr Eggers was tremendous. Very much recommended. Thank you, VW Eden Prairie.
