Ordered replacement lens for a pair of glasses. While replacing the lens the frame broke. I returned to the store and Andrew helped me pick out new new frames to replace the original.

I have several experiences at this store. Some good some bad. I am more concerned about the quality of last set of glasses. One of the screws on the arm will not thread into the bottom hinge. The store could not get it to thread. I have spent a lot of time on it and think the bottom hinge is not threaded and will not accept a screw. The screw has always been not threaded on the bottom but just noticing it now as it has loosened a bit more. They are not that old and probably out of any sort of warranty. No fix offered. The chat session is a generic chatbot and absolutely no help. might go back, might go across the hall to another store.

So many errors in product, delivery, communication, website access, customer service department, it's hard to believe this store can stay in business. After ordering two pairs of glasses, both of which, yielded terribly blurred vision, I returned them and the store re-adjusted and sent out for the revised glasses. One pair came back with the same problem, the other never arrived, with the word from the manager that there was a mix-up on the production side of things. After weeks of no further word on the second pair, and with no resolution of adequate vision of the "revised" first pair, I canceled the entire order and requested my refund. I was told by the store's staff that I could not get a refund directly to my credit card, as was the original form of payment, but that I would be sent two checks, separately, for the returned glasses. Then, after a few weeks of not receiving the refund, I made multiple: 1) phone calls to the store (usually routed to their automated "Amelia" robot, which proved worthless when I asked to "speak to store manager,"), 2) personal visits to the store, once finding it inexplicably closed in the middle of the day, and then twice leaving typewritten notes with the store's staff, with documentation, requesting a status report on when I can receive my refund- both of which were claimed by the manager to have "never received them," and 3) on the manager's eventual disclosure to me that he could not do anything from his end and that I would need to speak to their "customer service,'' whose phone number he provided, conversations with the customer service reps who repeatedly told me, "Yes, I see your refund is being processed, " or (most recently), "I'm thinking we are working on it." Customer service also promised to get back to me, twice, after they would contact the "Refund Department," and I did not get their promised return calls. This whole debacle went on for many, many weeks. As a last resort, I contacted CS again, and, with the same essential response of "it is being processed," I asked to speak to that rep's "Supervisor." That request, surprisingly, sent me back to the original store. At that point, a person took my call, who represented herself to be a Supervisor. I explained all in detail for her once again. She informed me that unfortunately, there was a new protocol in place by the corporation, which the Eden Prairie store manger was not aware of, i.e. "one more step" that was needed and that she would take that step right now. She also advised me, again, that "they" were not authorized to refund my purchase on my credit card. She could not confirm that my refund would happen "soon," but that likely I would see it in the next 30 days or so. Not content with the multiple failed promises and excuses received to date, I then filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Five days later I received my full refund credited back to my Visa card. Note: I had previously written a very good review on this store some years ago. I do think there is a now a rather systemic problem with the company, just based on my recent experience. When I tried to revise that review on the store's website, I was unable to do so.

Very nice staff, but never enough people working there. Can’t answer the phone and when you show up on a Saturday afternoon to pickup glasses and all they have is a sign saying “we are open” but the security gate is closed, it seems pointless.I’d go to Pearl Vision across the mall instead. They had actual people working.

Worst experience ever - avoid Vision Works at all cost! Purchased a warranty plan that advertised free repairs and replacements, was told after my replacement glasses where 2 weeks late from the promised completion date that we owed $30. Good luck ever trying to get a hold of them for assistance, I was only able to get things sorted out when I made a trip in-person. I will never do business here again.

I had a very negative experience working with Dr. Benedict. He was quite dismissive and rude during the entirety of my visit. He didn't take my input into consideration regarding MY vision. I tried to explain to him that I was satisfied with my current prescription, but he still insisted on bumping my prescription up significantly despite my concerns. He said that if he doesn't increase my prescription to these levels, that he could be liable if I get into a car accident. After doing my research, this is not true in the slightest. If it were true, I would be willing to sign a waiver but that wasn't offered. He said that if he didn't increase my prescription, that I may not even pass the DMV eye exam, which is also untrue. He pulled up the vision chart for the DMV eye exam and I could read it perfectly. He didn't even check to see if my current glasses were satisfactory enough to see the 20/20 vision line. I feel like I was lied to and manipulated. The contacts that he gave me at these significantly increased levels have given me migraines and severe headaches over the past week. This prescription level is causing me physical pain, but based on how I was treated, I know that if I bring it up, that I will likely be dismissed. All this from a medical provider who is supposed to make their patients' lives better.Unfortunately, now I can't even go to a different eye doctor because my insurance only covers one eye exam per year. In the 18 years that I have worn glasses, I've never received this kind of treatment before. I practically left the office visit in tears because of the treatment that I received. I have reached out to customer service so we will see if I hear anything back.Based on my experience, at this time, I would recommend going to a different eye doctor who cares about their patients. A provider who will actually listen to their patients' concerns and cares about their quality of life rather than making a quick buck.

Visionworks' website says this location is open until 8:00 PM, their phone recording says it is open until 8:00 PM, and their own sign states they are open until 8:00.We arrived here at 7:40, and it is indeed closed.Poor work ethic by the management and/or employees here, evidently.

My wife had an eye appointment at this Visionworks office. Cody Benedict, MN license number 3756 was extremely rude, unprofessional, did not explain anything, and had an attitude when dealing with my wife. The appointment took less than 5 minutes, he did not ask her for her previous lens power (nor did he tell her that he didn't have her previous records because Visionworks has a new system). More importantly, he gave her an inaccurate prescription that was a whole diopter less for the O.S. I'm hoping Visionworks contacts us to rectify this situation as she now has to see a new optometrist for a new prescription as Cody Benedict appears to be unprofessional and incompetent.

Not loving them lately. Went to get new glasses and had to wait almost 2 hours for them to get me through with getting my info on my new pairs. Went back today to get my noise piece fixed on my sunglasses. They had a hand written sign that said no repairs. The wouldn't repair them even tho I asked online in their chest and they said absolutely come on in at any time! Wouldn't even give me the piece to repair them myself. Went over to target optical in the same mall and they fixed both noise pieces so they would match in under 30 seconds. So much for their "we will repair your glasses anytime for free" thing at vision works. Might want to hire enough staff to actually run the store. Ridiculous that I can't get a 30 second fix on my $500 sunglasses.
