Just spent 1500 and 3 hours to have them not be able to put service onto my new phone. So after 3 hours now have to wait at Verizon to put a temporary number on my phone. They had absolutely no idea how to do this. On top of the fact some dude was super rude because they tried to get him to “help” which he did about none of. They could have simply said we have no clue how to transfer your line but are supposed to and saved me a huge headache. Overall I’ll never come back to this store.

Dead battery on my 3 yr old MacBook. My fault, it was in storage from a move. Anyway, I made an appointment, ordered a new battery, and it was installed later that day! Super helpful and very friendly staff.

There’s a clear lack of leadership and organization in this Apple location. I placed a pickup order for the new iPhone with a scheduled pickup slot- immediately they shoved me the line waiting on the side for produce pickup. Unfortunately, we’ve been waiting here for over 30 minutes— the line hasn’t moved at all. This isn’t what a scheduled appointment should be like. I scheduled a timeslot to be helped at that time… what is this??! Super disappointed- especially, since I’m out of state.

Came with my kids, employee out front made me wait in the longer line (45 min) despite setting a reservation. Then their employees misled me during an iPhone upgrade to wait another 1 hr and 20 min for icloud restore option (WiFi in store was super slow) when a simple eSIM transfer (and restore at home) could’ve worked fine.
Store manager then tried to tell me I had no other option than to wait for 2 more hours while my kids were losing it (2.5 total already), wouldn’t let me just cancel the order and leave with my original phone. Incompetent, lazy, and unhelpful manager.
I will gladly make a scene again if I have to so that Apple improves their in store experience and better level sets expectations. WiFi cloud restore took 10 minutes in my own house but 1.5 hours in the store wasn’t good enough
Jamal was the only one who figured it out and got me on my way in 15 min.

As long-time Apple customers and nearby residents, I have always valued the service at the Southdale Mall Apple Store. However, a recent visit left me deeply disappointed. I was ignored for over 20 minutes by the assigned staff member, who made inappropriate assumptions based on my appearance and showed little interest in assisting me. His tone was dismissive, unprofessional, and uncomfortable to witness. Fortunately, I later visited the Mall of America Apple Store, where I received the respectful and professional service I have come to expect from Apple. This contrast highlights a concerning gap in customer experience at Southdale Apple Store.

Very bad experience. I paid for AppleCare for two years, but when my phone broke, the store employee told me to throw it away and file a fake “stolen” claim. Later I found out the claim was denied because of settings he changed himself. Apple keeps taking money but refuses responsibility, saying it’s a third-party issue. Terrible service.

First time apple users, we came to the store to purchase 5 different items that said were in stock online. Took a lot of asking for someone to even acknowledge our existence and you could tell tell any customer being there was a major inconvenience to the staff. After about 15 minutes of asking around for help and flat out being ignored we finally got someone to check the stock status and everything was sold out. Regretting moving to Apple, will probably change back to android after this contract.

I recently picked up a new phone ordered online at the Apple Southdale store. I was immediately greeted and connected with a staff member to get my new phone set up. I was pleased and surprised to receive trade-in credit for my old phone. The staff in this store are friendly, patient and helpful. I would definitely recommend this location and return for future purchases or support with devices.

Super impressed with the service I just received! Izdee (apologies if name is spelled incorrectly I forgot to ask her how to spell it!) was so knowledgeable and personable. I was there for a Genius Bar appointment for my 92 year old bapa, he just got an iPad and it came with a password on it. She knew exactly what to do and how to fix it, was in and out of there within 25 minutes!!! Amazing!
