Customer service sucks. No one to greet you at the door (and there’s plenty of staff), to make a purchase you have to wait for a specialist who skips right over you if someone else has a bigger purchase. This experience has made me become an Android fan again, thanks but no thanks Apple Southdale, do better it’s not like you’re giving your products out for free.

Didn’t have a good experience here. Their customer service gives off “I don’t care if you buy anything from us you lowly peasant. In fact, I don’t even want to sell you this phone, ew.” But then again, I still bought the phone, so I don’t know who the one with problems is here is.

My experience at the Genius Bar at the Southdale Mall location in Edina, MN. was amazing.I had made an online appointment prior to going (suggested, but not necessary but you may have to wait). As soon as I arrived I was greeted by associate by the name of Preston. He was amazingly kind, patient and knowledgeable. He worked on my phone for over an hour.While the issue was not able to be resolved he was able to make an telephone appointment with the phone tech people for the next day, he also put a new screen saver on my device, picked out the right charging cords and at my request signed me up for Apple care and damage replacement, etc. If. If you see Preston, say HELLO from Amy. ?Honestly, the entire staff is amazing!

Waited an hour in line for the employee to say get lost and walk away. Only spend $10K on apple products and they spit in your face. Must be nice to not worry about losing customers. The worst service I have ever had

Had issue with my iPhone 13. Went to my cell provider first - they told me I will have to get a new phone.I then come to this Apple Store (Southdale) and had a MUCH better experience. Apple floor rep that helped me was kind, knowledgable, funny, and helpful! He got me into an appointment with their technician within 5 minutes, even though the store was closing in less than 20 minutes.Apple technician was very nice, smart, and again - helpful! She ran diagnostics and solved my issue very quickly!Additionally, they gave me a new SIM tray opener for future use - for free!Fantastic experience, will 100% be returning for any future concerns and products!Thanks again for helping me right before store closing. You guys are amazing!-Cameron

Made an advance appointment for a battery replacement and then was told it would be a 5 hour wait because there were others in the cue. Not sure the point of making an advance appointment is they aren’t holding the time for you. The manager didn’t seem to care. Given how advanced their scheduling system is seems like they can do a lot better.

If we could give them zero stars, we would. We had two simple questions. One was whether or not we could move a hard drive from one Apple laptop to another. They said that we needed to make 2 appointments; one for each device. What?!? That makes ZERO sense. We asked for the manager and he said the same thing. He didn’t want to let us come in, sit down, and ask our question. Ridiculous. We had an appointment! Finally he let us in, and then said it was possible to switch the hard drives, but that they don’t do that there. What?!? What happened to their customer service?!? They used to do practically anything for customers. I see that there are many negative reviews for this location; we’ve learned our lesson! No more Southdale.
