Snooty check out clerk, no help. Didn't feel like helping to replace an item purchased online that came damaged.

I was in the store yesterday to exchange a few shirts without a gift receipt or BR account tied to the purchase. Randi, the General Manager, spent 25 minutes of her day sorting out the return to ensure we received the highest possible value on the items and ordering the replacements. I expected the lowest price in the last 30 days or so, which would have been perfectly fine as we didn't have a receipt from the gift, and I was just hoping to exchange the items for a smaller size without much out-of-pocket. I walked away with the items ordered for home delivery plus a great shirt Randi helped me pick out for my partner, and additional store credit. The time, patience and kindness Randi showed was certainly above and beyond. I walked away feeling very appreciative of the great experience at BR. And of course, the store was prestinely clean and the displays were impeccable.

I used to shop here at least monthly if not more often, buying both casual clothes and clothes for work. BR used to have a decent selection but now with their "pivot" to trying to be an upscale brand, there is almost no inventory and what little they have is too weird (the styles I avoided that no one actually bought in the 80's and 90's) or they eliminated things I liked.I used to buy all of my dress shirts here because they were non-iron and lasted forever. They discontinued non-iron and now the shirts look like old dishrags out of the dryer (even following the care instructions to the letter). There is no way I am going to iron shirts or send them to the cleaners when the technology exists to make them non-iron.Unfortunately, BR is neither an upscale boutique brand (I would never pay $600 for a BR sweater) or what it used to be so I shop elsewhere.

I took a pass through here since I have found things here in the past. I saw only two staff members in the whole store out front. A lot of brown and army greens seem to be coming in for the fall, neither colors works for my skin or coloring.

Overall, its fine. Spacious store, well stocked, clean. Staff was prompt to check on you when you enter. I do agree with the other reviews here that you do feel a little pressure to buy stuff from the staff. Trial rooms are neat. I like coming in her to feel the fabrics in person.

Lol I bought some stuff and my Girlfriend was helping me try out stuff but she was denied the bathroom by the staff in a very funny way. Like maybe it was open mic night I don’t know but it was kinda d*** lol

Large store, fairly well stocked but horrible staff. I was looking for specific items & the lady helping asked several times to see the photo on my phone of the items I had seen online acting as if she wasn’t familiar with them at all & had no clue if they were in stock. She asked for assistance from a manager & although their system was “down” couldn’t help & were pushing me to order online. Walk up to the cash wrap with the 2 items I had located & right there next to the cash wrap were the specific pair of jeans I was trying to locate. Staff was rude, had no clue regarding their inventory, didn’t seem familiar with items & locations of where they were to be found. Understandable if it were a new sales associate but absolutely not from a manager.

In addition to an above average selection, the customer service was also above average. They have two entrances in two different wings of the mall, once is the male half of the store, the other is the female half.

Had a great experience with Jimmy and love the dreads. Very warm and helpful but not pushy.

It was not a good experience,. You can't ask questions about garments due to staff shortage, and most clothing was over priced for the quality. I will not return.

Katie was really helpful in finding me the right fit and type of outfit that I was looking for. I appreciated her feedback and finding different sizes from other stores.

Sales staff is AGGRESSIVE! I’m the type of person who likes to look around by myself, with little or no hand holding. It’s hard to do at this location. They push the banana card and rewards system HARD. I already have both. They ask me about it every time I go in this store, before I’m even thinking about trying anything on. I’ve heard them talk on the floor before about needing to get sales, etc., up so I know the pressure is coming from above, but their attempt to meet goals is actually doing the opposite and turning people away.

I generally tend to shop at banana Republic but I usually do not go to this store. I was pretty impressed they have a large selection, the store was clean in pretty well organized and the staff is fairly nice. Although they did they seem to have some confusion about exchanging and returns regarding items purchased online. Perhaps these were new staff members but they should be up to speed on that process and their policies.

Not a BP regular, bought a sweater as a gift at Mall of America location. Bag tore. Happened to be shopping here and noticed the store, stopped in and asked for a bag. Legitimately asked if I had the purchase with me. Should have pulled out my credit card transaction history, but regardless, seriously? *facepalm*
