I love shopping at Cubs. I used to live behind Cub Food on 60th and Nicolett. I still go there sometimes but I'm closer to the Edina Cub Food.

Prices are $1-$3+ on name brand items vs Walmart! Once in awhile they have ok sale prices or new product intro prices that match Walmart’s prices but overall they are now only a specific item, sale or convenience stop for me if I am nearby.
For example if you want the best sour cream & onion chips at a great price grab their Essential Everyday brand!!!! Their potato salad is good. Their bone-in fried chicken is better than all metro grocery stores and only bested by KFC in the metro. Note I haven’t tried Popeye’s for a few years. The chicken gravy is the best in the metro of grocers usually yet a week ago the gravy was terrible…tasted like out of a jar & definitely not the usual gravy.
Cub was bought out by some big company in the past few years and they certainly have went nuts with their pricing and it takes quite awhile for some of the National brand items to cycle on-sale…esp the freezer items & deli fresh sliced meats. I used to almost exclusively shop Cub as I lived close by yet given the prices I switched to predominately Walmart & L&B.

Latrice was extremely friendly, patient and kind. I hope to see her next time I come in for groceries! A lot better than some other knuckleheads I’ve dealt with in there.

First time in this Cub. Very clean store. Friendly staff. Kind of busy around 4pm on a Sunday. Long lines at checkout. Self check went pretty quick.

Cubs prices were to high on all foods. Used to shop here years ago when prices were reasonable just thankful for the pharmacy fir my needs.

They have food and items to complement food. But, the customer service is a waste of time. I looked around for an hour while about 10 employees stocking shelves. Concluded this store didn’t have what I was looking for. Used the self checkout, tried searching for the item there, nothing. Employee comes over and tries to help. Rather she wanted to know more about what’s the origin of the item I’m looking for. Big waste of time and now have to go to another store.

This Cub location is the WORST I've ever been to.I try, whenever possible, not to shop here even though it's fairly close to me.The produce is always in poor shape. Shelves are generally poorly stocked.The staff in the morning seem offended you're there to shop.They have no cashiers in the morning, it's self check out only. So, don't plan to make a big shopping trip in the morning unless you want to handle a big cart of groceries in their compact self scan area.This place is not convenient to shop, not friendly, and poor selection. They fail on pretty much every metric a grocery store is measured by.I'd avoid this location whenever possible. Go shop at the many, many other options in the Edina area.Unless you need a few things, then it's passable.
