This place is the best with cats. They really go out of their way to decrease stress whenever possible, and the staff is so patient and understanding even with my feisty kitty. They use minimal restraint, and the doctor didn't take it personally when my cat growled and swiped at her. Both doctors I've had here, as well as all the techs have always answered all my questions, and you can tell they all love animals and have their best in mind when making care recommendations. Prices are maybe on the high end of reasonable, but the care is so worth it. I'll be continuing to bring both my cats here for the foreseeable future.

Great groomer who was friendly and speedy. Nice clean lobby and parking lot on site.

They are amazing and very caring. They are very good about always helping no matter over the phone or stopping in and they have great prices! Way better then others I've been to.

They are very professional, caring, and helpful. The ladies from the front desk always so friendly, and the care for my pets are absolutely the best.

If you love your pets… do not bring them here. Take my advice. Do your research. The new vet here is in the business of making sure you come back year after year and have a sick pet at the end of their life. She has no conscience. There are a lot of free advice by ex Vets on YT. You owe it to your pets. I will say it one more time… do your research. We’ve removed both our pets from here when we encountered the red flags. It wasn’t like this a year ago but after the new owner took over it has changed and we pulled both of them out immediately.

I was disappointed, I felt pressured to get unnecessary tests for my cat. She said the blood and urine was looking normal so they should do some GI tract scan costing me an extra $200+, but then I got a call a day later with the full blood and urine results. That test was totally unnecessary. It cost me over $1,000 to find out my cat had a UTI. I’m not well off enough to spend that kind of money on routine exams, I’d go broke and not be able to afford if my cats have more serious illnesses . I would avoid this vet if you’re not rich.

Tenny's doctor was incredible, spent a long time with us, listened to my concerns, gave me a detailed account of why she was sick and how to prevent future infections. The tech was just as stellar as the doctor. I would highly recommend this clinic. I feel like I lucked out finding this place!

I found this veterinary clinic with a simple Google search and I am so happy we decided to take our cat here! Every single individual we interacted with was knowledgeable and friendly. My cat was the most calm she has ever been at a vet appointment and that made me a very happy cat mom ?

I always have a wonderful experience at Edina Pet Hospital! Dr. Herold and Skylar were both such kind and caring people today. I felt that my dog Aubbie, was in a safe hands and that she was being cared for by knowledgeable staff. Skylar has an incredible bedside manner and I can tell she really cares about her work and the animals she works with. Dr. Herold is very kind and provides helpful education. Highly recommend!

Edina Pet Hospital is a high quality veterinary clinic. We use it for our cats. They are safe, highly knowledgeable, and super friendly. This is not a budget veterinarian. We always feel well assured that we are getting top notch care and consideration from the doctors and the staff here. The parking lot might seem full, but most cars are for the staff there. When I went, there were only three or four open parking slots, but there was only one other pet owner inside. They have separate entry doors and separate exam rooms for dogs and cats. All the other customers and animals there seemed to be very happy and at ease.

These guys are still in business? I was there years ago and my dog almost died as a result. I debated suing them but decided instead to move on. They seem like a legit place but their advice is very poor. This was a few years ago but I'm guessing nothing has changed and would avoid this place. They used to have a groomer next door that you couldn't visit unless your dog was a vet patient, that is how low they stoop to get customers. Very bad reputation in Edina and would not recommend this place.

Very, very poor experience. I brought my senior rescue dog to the clinic after he suffered what I thought was a seizure and fell down the stairs. They said he needed extensive blood tests, which I paid for. $400. When I didn't hear back with the test results, I called the clinic. Someone called me back and said the blood was "fine." Meanwhile, my dog is still falling over and not eating. Three days pass and I call the vet again asking what I should do. This is the first time they tell me my dog's blood sugar is dangerously low, and that I need to come in for more blood tests. I oblige. Still inconclusive, and once again I need to call and nudge them for the results. My dog is declining fast. They tell me to come in again for yet another expensive $300 blood panel. I've got almost a grand into this clinic and still no answers, no recommendations, nothing I can do. I call to get the results of blood test #3 - nothing conclusive. My dog is dying before my eyes, so I take him to an emergency vet who IMMEDIATELY knows my dog is in end-stage heart failure and in an incredible amount of pain after being unable to eat for several days. Sadly, I had to euthanize my dog that same day.So basically, this was a simple misdiagnosis and a lack of a proper physical exam of my pet. The first time I visited, Romeo was clearly in crisis. The vet barely examined him and ordered a bunch of blood work, xrays, and tests. Nothing about his heart other than noticing he had a murmur (which I knew). Nothing about his cardiac insufficiency - the fact his heart was BARELY pumping blood was the first thing the emergency vet noticed when he actually examined my dog and used the stethoscope (what a concept!)THEN I get an email from Edina Pet Hospital that says "Hey, Romeo is due for his shots!" Insulting, cruel, and unprofessional. This practice only cares about money. They tech starts writing up the estimate before the vet even examines your pet. They are not transparent about pricing and will "load up" their estimates and shame you for not wanting certain diagnostics. I spent a thousand dollars for them to tell me NOTHING and I spent $300 at the emergency vet for exam, blood, and euthanasia. Unbelievably inept staff, not at all helpful or knowledgable. One tech even tried to tell me all my dog needed was "their prescription food" and "did I want to buy some?" This practice doesn't care about your pet if they're senior. They just want you to keep spending money on diagnostics. And to add insult to injury, today they texted me reminding me to "bring Romeo in for his next appointment." Gonifs. BEWARE!PLEASE NOTE I do not want to be contacted by Edina Pet Hospital. It's hard enough remembering my dog suffering under your care - I don't want to relive it.
