Teresa Sankey helped us with living room furniture and it turned out so pretty and just perfect. She also solved our dining chair problems by designing cushions for them, which are also perfect. We have always looked to Ethan Allen for quality and that hasn’t changed! Thank you.

Purchased a dinning set and table edge was sharp and damaged the chairs. very poor quality and design for the price i paid.

Update: We are happy that Ethan Allen has replaced the defective table top. The logistics manager was very helpful in keeping us informed.
Original Review: The Edina store does not support its customers. We bought a new dining room table, and it has had flaws. Portions of the table top have come off after minimal use. We alerted the store after the first incident, and after about two months of waiting, someone came and filled the gap in the finish. Then the same thing happened again, and we let the design consultant at the store know that we had a repeat problem.
After three months, we have received no indication that the issue will be fixed. We’ve asked our design consultant if there’s someone else we can contact to schedule service—we’re perfectly fine not having to take her time with this matter—but she doesn’t provide us with any alternative options and gives us no feedback that anyone is taking action—just that she’s made “inquiries” and informed her manager. When we said that this didn’t seem to be getting us anywhere, she stopped replying. A manager supposedly was cc’d on the emails, but he’s never engaged us in any way.
The dining room table we owned for the previous 20 years was from Bassett, and we never experienced any issues. We thought Ethan Allen was a brand of equivalent quality, but sadly that has not proven true, and the customer support from the Edina store staff is even worse than the product quality. We would not recommend anyone shop at this establishment.

If I could rate no star I would.
Internet stated that the six light chandelier could be returned with a restocking fee. Chandelier too large for space. Ethan Allen refused to return. A fifty year customer no longer going to shop there.....

While the furniture is of good quality, the service is awful. Despite a commitment that our furniture would be delivered by end of May, nothing was proactively communicated by Ethan Allen and the furniture delay is over 3 months. Their delivery process is painful, despite the fact that you pay hundreds of dollars for that delivery service.

Rey & Oscar were incredibly helpful with delivery. They went WAAAYYY above and beyond getting the sofa into a very difficult location! Thank you so much for demonstrating how to operate the inflatable sofa bed. It’s beautiful too. Have a very happy Independence Day Holiday.

My sales associate was knowledgeable, helpful, insightful and really worked with me to choose the exactly right pieces for my living room. I felt neither rushed to make decisions nor pressured to make a purchase. She kept me in the loop about the delivery time and delivery process. Both pieces arrived exactly when expected, and in perfect condition. I feel I could rely on her advice when I need to make another purchase.

Expect customer service until you make your final purchase. Then while waiting weeks for it to be made, they suddenly forget who you are and will not respond to emails.

I am so disappointed in my Ethan Allen. I have bought furniture there for years. Love the quality until I bought two chairs that were over $2600 for both. Less than three years later the paint is chipping off the top of the arms. I feel it wasn't sealed properly. These chairs get minimal use. Called the store three or more times with no one ever following up. Called corporate they did get me a follow up call and she never followed up on what they said they would do. It is to the point that small claims court will have to settle the repair.
