This is my first time having such a bad experience at great clips , I've been to several locations in many states but this one was particularly different. The old asian lady was very rude and got started with me without asking what I wanted and she was done in literally less than 5 mins and when I wanted some changes she pushed back and didn't do it because that's not the haircut i wanted , she drenched my hair and refused to even rough dry it and when I asked she said that's it she can't rough dry it .so I left the chair with soaking wet hair and water dripping all over . During check out , she kept asking me for a tip and I told her I wouldn't give a tip because of the experience I had and on top it wasn't even the haircut i wanted and she was like no you need to give me a tip because I cut your hair and asked 3-4 times . I watched her do this to another customer before me too .

I really liked the convenience of Great Clips—their check-in technology is great and makes the whole process quick and efficient. It’s a big plus not having to wait around.
That said, after three visits, I’ve consistently had a frustrating experience with the same stylist, Lucy. Each time I’ve ended up with a cut that didn’t match what I asked for, and I’ve had to fix it myself at home. She also seemed irritated when I politely asked for a small change from the instructions.
Unfortunately, this has happened one too many times, and it just doesn’t make sense for me to keep coming back. The convenience is great, but consistency and customer care matter more when it comes to something as personal as a haircut.
And if your response is going to be the usual “please reach out to customer care,” save it—this review is my feedback, and I’m moving on.

Absolutely the worst. The older woman stylist at the York Avenue, Edina location spent most of the appointment shaming my daughter and reduced her to tears. A person who can't bring themselves to treat a child with a minimum of human decency should not be dealing with the public.

Lucy was my barber, extremely dirty. She never cleaned her clipper of the attachments between clients, the brush still had chunks of the previous clients hair in it. At one point she coughed on me and also wiped her nose with hand and proceeded to cut my hair. The previous clients black towel was staying laying across her counter and tools. I will be reporting this person to the department of health. I will never be back to this great clips.

Getting a haircut for the first time very very bad service the person who had to cut my hair needs to learn how to talk to people as if she was doing it for free she is talking about the time she spend cutting my hair for 20 mins. . Waste of time and I am not satisfied at all. Please change ur staff . . First try to understand what the guest needs . .

Just didn't listen to leave an inch of hair on the top. Cut almost everything down to under a centimeter. Otherwise fantastic service with nice people my hair does look great. Just wasn't what I asked for.
