Was receiving money for an approved claim and Michelle stated she was going to have a courier hand deliver the check. It has never been recieved. Week We then have been calling the business broker has been calling. We told them we were coming AFTER they said to come and get the check.... but wait there was not a signed upon arrival. So we were promised that we could pick up the check the next day. Next day comes and we were told Michelle is in a meeting call after 12:30 so we called after 12:30 no Michelle is at a Corporate Event. The insurance broker has also called not getting anyone either. We are back to chasing money. I am a StateFarm customer as well and our agent has never treated us this way. In an age where people can just buy insurance on line and are not getting agents... why even have an agent if they will not respond. Even my customer cannot get a response. This is really sad.

Johanna is absolutely amazing! We had a little accident and Johanna was so prompt in caring for our claim getting us set up with repair. She is so kind and professional. We have been so happy with our switch to State Farm! Thank you Mike Nelson Agency!

This particular office is terrible. Very poor service, untrained staff, calls not returned and people have been rude and brash. Mike is never there, he’s always golfing or something. I promise you’ll regret using this office.

I called on behalf of my company's owner and the receptionist, or woman who answered the phone, "Chris", sounded extremely annoyed by my call. I would not have wasted my time with a review, but I am also a State Farm client and have never been treated in such a manner by other State Farm offices in CA or MN.

If I could rate this agency 0 stars I would. I have NEVER in my entire life witnessed such poor customer service. I have been a State Farm customer at this agency since October of last year. Since then, they have made a mistake in every way possible from my mail being sent to my grandparents AFTER I called them MULTIPLE times with the CORRECT address (which FINALLY got fixed after 4 months), to putting ME on my grandmothers home owners insurance, to mixing up my aunts and my own car insurance and putting me on her policy and her on mine, to losing multiple forms and needing me to resign them, to (and this is probably the WORST one) INPUTING THE INCORRECT VIN NUMBER INTO THEIR SYSTEM AND TRYING TO SAY THEY WERE NOT GOING TO COVER AN ACCIDENT I WAS IN BECAUSE THEY FAILED TO PUT IN THE CORRECT VIN AND FAIELD TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT UNTIL I HAD AN ACCIDENT, which IS NOT THE CUSTOMERS FAULT THAT THEY INPUT THE WRONG VIN, and finally, to NOT addressing ANY of these situations in a timely manner, having too much money coming out of my bank account when I did NOT agree to that amount, AND KNOWING I NEEDED that money reversed back into my account as soon as possible due to the fact I have a family of 4 children to care for and that Thanksgiving is coming up and having no sympathy for any of it. Having being charged for a policy change twice, and finally, to them not following their mission statement as a company and CARING FOR THE WELLBEING OF MY CHILDREN AND MYSELF. The ONLY good thing that has ever come from this place is AFTER A LONG 43 days of waiting AFTER MY CAR WAS TOTALED, they FINALLY gave me my total loss package and did the RIGHT thing and took care of the accident. On top of ALL of this, I am in the car business and I have given THEM NEW CUSTOMERS AND BUSINESS, and THIS is how they repay me. I would MOST DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND YOU TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE. They do NOT follow the morals in which State Farm says they stand for.

Having been a customer with Mike Nelson's State Farm agency for over 20 years I was HIGHLY disappointed when we received notice (from the corporate office) that our policy was being cancelled. I would have expected a call from Mike's agency directly. After leaving two messages, he finally returned our call. We explained that we'd like to stay with State Farm and asked him to see if he could plead our case to the corporate office. He half-heartedly said he would, but never called us back. Very poor customer service. We found other insurance and called to cancel our policies with Mike on March 29. Having never received confirmation of our cancellation, I called him back on April 12 and April 21. He wasn't available either time. As of April 29, we are still waiting for confirmation of our policy cancellation and haven't received a refund check for the balance.
